Oil change, new tires

I am a senior trying to keep my older vehicles. Bowie Shell is helping me do that. Last go around for an oil change, Carl said to think about new tires. I said let's go ahead and do that. He helped me narrow down the choice, ordered the tries, got them installed on the day promised. I remembered that I had been experiencing some spinning of tires on slick streets, after a rain. I had brushed it off. I think the reason was not that I was too heavy on the gas, but that he tires were reaching the end of their best performance. That's another thing I like about Bowie Shell. They point things out that need to be pointed out. No oversell. Just keeping my vehicle running. I don't want a flat tire on Route 50 or in Annapolis Shopping Mall.
