Not all about $$$

I had been going to Bobs Autodynamics for about 3 years never had an issue till now. I took my car in for a new front end. My car is a 2016 Lexus CT200H with 240000 miles. They did the front end and after there was a clunking noise after 1 day. Took it back the next day and was told need axles. Replaces the axels didn’t fix the problem. . Took car back was told it’s the transmission. At this point I spent over 4000 dollars and if I was told it was the transmission I would have cut ties with the car if It was the transmission as they know I had an emotional connection to my car. But there comes a time when your mechanic needs to step up and be the voice of reason and not in it for the $$$. They just kept repairing and not fixing the root problem. I would like a refund for this as I had to sell the car to scrap junk

Questionable Customer Service

No service was rendered on my car, after two days and a partial morning of it being there. Actually, I received a call on the morning of the third day, from a lady who called herself "Cheryl," saying that my car was not at Bob's AutoDynamics; that it was at Aaamco Transmissions. I know that my car was towed to 3015 S. Valley View blvd, the address given on the internet. Also, on the date that the car was towed there, I walked into the office at that address and spoke to the gentleman sitting behind the desk and a woman who was also present, about the problems that I was having with the vehicle and that I needed it repaired-and my info and my car key were given over to them. I had checked the car on Tuesday and thought that there were some new spark plugs missing from the trunk, that I had bought, knowing that the car needed a tune-up. I had told the gentleman about it before I left on Tuesday, and asked for the cost of them to be taken off of my final bill, to which he agreed. However, when I reached home a few minutes later, and upon emptying the bag from the trunk of my car, I found the small box of spark plugs in a
separate plastic bag, which I had apparently overlooked. I quickly called Bob's AutoDynamics and left a message that I had found the spark plugs. This a.m. a woman who called herself "Cheryl" called me and told me that my car was not at Bob's AutoDynamics, but was at Aaamco Transmissions. This was "alarming" and "perplexing" to me, as I knew exactly where the tow truck driver had left the car, in the huge parking lot at the back of the business, where a gentleman who came out of the office had told the tow truck driver to put it.I told the woman who called herself "Cheryl" that I was coming down there to get my car, as I felt that the reason for this was because I had initially thought that the spark plugs had been taken by one of their employees, and they were upset about that, so decided not to work on my car. For myself, as a 70-year-old senior citizen who is near-sighted and wears glasses, they should have been kinder and more understanding in my case.

Honest and Fast Service

I just moved to Las Vegas and my air conditioner started acting up. It would blow somewhat cool and then it would blow warm. I told my cousin and he recommended Bob"s Autodynamics. They quickly took it for a test run and came back and throughly checked it out. I was told that the truck had two fans that work for the air conditioner and they were not working together to do what they were intended to do for the air conditioner to operate properly. I was quoted a very reasonable and honest price for the work and repair and told them to go ahead with the repair. The air conditioner is working great and keeping me cool. Bob's is great and I will definitely go back when repairs are needed.
Very happy and satisfied customer.

Brakes still squeak after being replaced- outrageous labor rates

My brakes were squeaking, and I new they needed replacing. About one week after brakes were replaced, they began squeaking again. Total parts were $162.97 (no problem). Labor was $359.18 (total rip off). I could have gone to "Just Brakes" or another major franchise for much less. Will not be using Bob's Autodynamics again.

Trusting and honest

Had brakes check along with my 3,000 mile oil change and got an honest answer of when I need to replace them. I feel safe and comfortable of when to do this. That is how much I depend on Bob's Autodynamics.

My Trusted Auto Mechanic

I've had several mechanics over the nearly 40 years I've driven my vehicles but few are like thise sr Bob's Autodynamics. Bob's Autodynamics is a collection of professionals in whom I've placed my total and complete trust for the care and repair of my vehicles. If they say something needs to be done, it does. They will also tell me what does not need to be done. The kind of honest and trustworthy competent mechanics that work for Bob's are terrific and I trust them. I recommend Bob's Autodynamics to anyone looking for honest and professional care of their vehicles.

Very Attentive and Responsive

After car is left, receive phone call in short order to outline analysis of problems and time and cost estimate to repair.
Repairs were done on time and within the budget provided earlier. Communication is excellent.

Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am!

Clockwork. Like Clockwork, I say! Dropped the car off. Had a little coffee, 3 quick business meetings, some shopping, and my phone rang and it was DONE! I always trust Bob and his crew with my cars.
