Timeline: 6/29/2024 -Dropped of my 2022 Palisade Cal. so that the sunroof could be repaired (defective and shattered), and they were also going to fix the cracked windshield and install the hitch I had purchased at time of sale (2 yrs. 5months ago later). I told them I would be out of town and that I would pick it up on the 7/7/24, they agreed that would give them enough time to fix everything. I went by on 7/7/24 and they said they need a few more days. Finally picked it up on 7/10/24 (12 days total) only to find out that the only thing fixed was the sunroof ?
Then I get a call saying they had the hitch in and if I want to take it in on 8/21/2024, I agreed and reminded them about the windshield replacement, they said oh ok we will look into that, again. I dropped my car off at 9:45am on 8/21/24 for my 10:00am appointment and asked how long it would take to get hitch installed, they said to give them till about 5pm, I said OK. I did call after lunch to check status as I work mobile and my car is the biggest part of my self-employment, but I could not get thru to anyone, whoever did answer would transfer me to the wrong department or tell me that she was sending them (service) an email to call me with an update, no one ever called me. Finally, at 4:45 I receive a call from Bianca Caraveo to let me know that the harness for the hitch was the wrong one and that they had to order it and it would not arrive till the next day, she asked if I wanted to pick up the car or leave it there. I said just leave it there, I don't have a car to be going back and forth to drop it off and pick it up ?. The next day 8/22/24 (today), I get a call at 10:38am from Bianca stating that the harness for hitch was on backorder and that Hyundai did not have an ETA so they did not install hitch and if I wanted to go pick up car ?, I told her to send someone to pick me up and she did. When I arrived, she gave me the paperwork to sign out the car and I noticed that a Note on the form I was signing had a response from Hyundai time stamped at 3pm 8/21/24, I told her they told you this yesterday and you let me leave my car here knowing you were not going to get the part and didn't have an eta. She says with attitude that note was not seen be anyone till this morning (8/22/24), which means she called me to tell me about the missing part being ordered and that it would arrive 8/22/24 by 11am for installation and the whole time it was a lie, no one knew that the response from Hyundai was that there was not part coming. I took a deep breath as I do not like to be rude to people, I asked about the broken windshield she said oh yes let me call (mind you she has supposably been asking since June 2024), again she said her usual it is not in yet! I wish they would just reimburse the amounts I paid for both the Hitch and the windshield protection, and I can move on and not have to deal with them again!
