Beware of Service Department
Purchasing a vehicle is a breeze, them trying and succeeding to sell you extra's like windshield warranty or a hitch is also a breeze but Beware when it's time to get any kind of service done, you will be very disappointed! This has been my awful experience with them.
Timeline: 6/29/2024 -Dropped of my 2022 Palisade Cal. so that the sunroof could be repaired (defective and shattered), and they were also going to fix the cracked windshield and install the hitch I had purchased at time of sale (2 yrs. 5months ago later). I told them I would be out of town and that I would pick it up on the 7/7/24, they agreed that would give them enough time to fix everything. I went by on 7/7/24 and they said they need a few more days. Finally picked it up on 7/10/24 (12 days total) only to find out that the only thing fixed was the sunroof ?
Then I get a call saying they had the hitch in and if I want to take it in on 8/21/2024, I agreed and reminded them about the windshield replacement, they said oh ok we will look into that, again. I dropped my car off at 9:45am on 8/21/24 for my 10:00am appointment and asked how long it would take to get hitch installed, they said to give them till about 5pm, I said OK. I did call after lunch to check status as I work mobile and my car is the biggest part of my self-employment, but I could not get thru to anyone, whoever did answer would transfer me to the wrong department or tell me that she was sending them (service) an email to call me with an update, no one ever called me. Finally, at 4:45 I receive a call from Bianca Caraveo to let me know that the harness for the hitch was the wrong one and that they had to order it and it would not arrive till the next day, she asked if I wanted to pick up the car or leave it there. I said just leave it there, I don't have a car to be going back and forth to drop it off and pick it up ?. The next day 8/22/24 (today), I get a call at 10:38am from Bianca stating that the harness for hitch was on backorder and that Hyundai did not have an ETA so they did not install hitch and if I wanted to go pick up car ?, I told her to send someone to pick me up and she did. When I arrived, she gave me the paperwork to sign out the car and I noticed that a Note on the form I was signing had a response from Hyundai time stamped at 3pm 8/21/24, I told her they told you this yesterday and you let me leave my car here knowing you were not going to get the part and didn't have an eta. She says with attitude that note was not seen be anyone till this morning (8/22/24), which means she called me to tell me about the missing part being ordered and that it would arrive 8/22/24 by 11am for installation and the whole time it was a lie, no one knew that the response from Hyundai was that there was not part coming. I took a deep breath as I do not like to be rude to people, I asked about the broken windshield she said oh yes let me call (mind you she has supposably been asking since June 2024), again she said her usual it is not in yet! I wish they would just reimburse the amounts I paid for both the Hitch and the windshield protection, and I can move on and not have to deal with them again!

Unresolved New Car Issue
I bought a 2024 Tuscan on Jan 2nd and actually had a surprisingly good experience doing so. But, before I rolled away, I noticed 3 discoloration spots on the drivers side door. Night manager came out to look at it and said he'd never encountered this issue. I was told that they'd report it & I would be notified to bring in my car. I did as asked & drove from Brownsville to a 3RD PARTY REPAIR SHOP IN MERCEDES on Fri. Jan 5th! Shop owner, Elena, said she'd also never encountered that paint issue & communicated with Mr. Puga at the Hyundai dealership. As I teacher, I returned to work on Jan 9th, and Joseph, my salesman, was supposed to bring me a loaner while my car was inspected, but I had to call and ask when they'd start to work on my car on Jan 11th, becausenothing had happened. He picked it up that night and based on my Hyundai notification, it was parked, UNLOCKED, at the dealership, for over a week. I've been driving the loaner ever since. No on called me with news, so I had to call them. Mr. Puga said that they were still waiting for Hyundai to decide what to do. I am so disappointed and angry. The month is almost over and I still don't have a resolution. I bought a new car and will pay handsomely for it. I should not get a bad factory paint job! Get me a NEW vehicle, same trim, same color and get it now! I have been more than patient, but I truly feel dooped. I thought doing business with Bert Odgen would better than this.

Terrible Customer Service
We called multiple times trying to get our Hyundai Tueson in for service. No one will answer and no one will call back. I guess they do not need business! Finally, after over a week we called the dealer in Brownsville where we were put on the schedule for the next day. We were willing to drive from Brownsville to Harlingen because service was so much better! I guess Bert Ogden Hyundai does not need customers.

Would give 0 stars if possible.
Rude, untrained, refuse to even check the car even though it has “extended warranty” I was asked to bring it in? Constant issues with the one Jurassic woman working in service. Have a panoramic sunroof just to have it closed because it’s my fault it doesn’t work.

My time spent with Adrienne was a waste of both of our time. The fact that the service department refused to upgrade my navigation system was not resolved. The fact that my auto had not been washed upon its return to me was not even discussed. The fact that the dealership marks up their inventory either $2500 and $5000 above the sticker price or the fact that they post a 30.06 sign on their entrances was not resolved. Adrienne told me the reason for her call was to understand how they fell short in pleasing their customers so they wouldn't lose more in the future. I was told that others in management would be contacting me about my concerns, that has not happened as of yet. Their lack of follow-up is why I have dropped my rating from 2 stars to 1. They don't care so now I will buy elsewhere in the future even if I have to drive to Houston or San Antonio.

Their version of customer service is certainly not the same as mine and their car wash must be broken as I got my car back dirty.

The 30.07 is something that as a private company we do have the right to post and that will not be changed, as it is company wide and also seen at every other dealership I have ever visited.
