Great dealership
My salesman was great. Very responsive to my concerns, especially in light of the chip shortage resulting in a vehicle shortage. Different from many dealerships they were not asking for added dealer markup. They sold the Santa Cruz for MSRP. And I did not have to suffer through hours of sitting at a desk while my salesman had to go speak to a manager. Most of the tedious paperwork was done online. Even the finance guy was really good. He listened to me, offered me various options but there was no painful hard sell. I would certainly buy another car from them in the future, maybe an electric Ioniq 6. Worth the 30 minute drive away from the various automobile rows in San Jose, Santa Clara and Fremont, all who wanted a $3,000 to $5,000 mark up.

Overall good experience except for pricing
Overall the dealership experience was good. Main downside was having to pay 7k over msrp but I guess that’s the reality of the market these days.

Good overall experience
The dealer was nice and resourceful, but the dealership manager rushed the paperwork of the car and didn't make us feel very confident about the things we were signing. I also did not receive the second key of my car yet, and am awaiting that.

I can't believe I'm saying this about buying a new car, but it was a pleasure doing business with SL Hyundai
I was not expecting great service or knowledge when shopping for an electric vehicle at a dealership. At least my past experience had suggested that. But when I bought my Kona EV from SL Hyundai, they were knowledgeable and very accommodating about getting me into an EV. The Kona is a great EV, excellent range and reasonably prices (with rebates). My salesperson was not pushy in the least, but helped keep me on track and endlessly patient with my questions and supplied good answers. This was probably the part that was the best part - it was a no pressure experience - even though it took me probably 3 weeks to make the decision. The only negative was the long wait to fill out the paperwork after he purchase decision was made.

I was promptly greeted and dealt with in a professional manner. I was nervous about this purchase as it’s my first car, but quickly felt reassured after speaking with my customer care rep -Alex- and just looking at the top-notch vehicle I now have.
