Jacob did put in effort to fix the issue.
After seeing my review the service assistant manager Jacob did contact me to try and set things right. While the finance dept. was limited in their assistance he personally made up the difference, so he deserves credit for going the extra mile to satisfy a customer.

First Hyundai blew up engine, second one sabotaged by loose oil plug.
Hyundai is terrible at service and terrible at building cars. I bought a new Kona last year for my little sisters 16th birthday. The engine exploded due to manufacturing defects at 7k miles while she was driving it late at night. She had PTSD from the event and would not drive it. I gave them a second chance and got her an Elantra, despite the fact they didn’t give me any deal or benefit from the factor their car failed at 7k miles and inconvenienced me for days. Guess what happened next? On the second oil change they didn’t tighten the oil plug and it drained out staining my driveway and the road in front of my house. It did the same thing to my sister as she was leaving school and had to be towed back to the dealer, embarrassing her. Now they tell me it’s just fine despite being driven with no oil due to their negligence. What good is a 100k mile warranty if you have to spend several days without a car every 6 months? What kind of car company and dealer does this and doesn’t compensate paying customers for their wasted time, money, and ruined property. Hyundai and Murdock Hyundai, that’s what kind. Most disappointing car experience ever.

The best care
My experience every time I come to have my car serviced or to talk about buying a new car I am treated with the greatest respect they spend time to explain every aspect of my car care I always come away knowing long before what will be done how much it will cost I am so pleased with his care

We have had both our Hyundai to both Salt Lake stores and a visit to the St. George store during a trip, and we have been most impressed with the service we received from the team at Murdock Hyundai in Lindon. Jacob was very helpful in getting our vehicle serviced.

Sloppy Work
Didn't like picking my car up with greasy dirty boot marks all over the plastic on my door jam. I asked for a piece of plastic to be put down so this wouldn't happen, I was told no problem and then it didn't happen. Sloppy attention to detail.

Excellent car service!
I took my car in to get a new battery and they surprised me with a new battery that was covered under warranty! They saved me $300!! I was so excited!
