Trusted for high-mileage vehicles

Top Energy is honest, easy to talk to, and understand how to work with high-mileage vehicles that have seen better days.
I definitely feel comfortable bringing my car here knowing it's in capable hands, and that they will work to keep it running safely and reliably without trying to talk me into unnecessary repairs.

Throughout the years, our family has sent our '03 Honda Element, '07 Chevy Malibu, '10 Ford Escape, and others like it with high mileage to Top Energy and they have been very well taken care of, fixed up, and made to last well past their life expectancy.

Tustworthy

The staff is friendly and trustworthy. I had a problem and my brakes failed. I called Top Energy to come help me, and they immediately towed me down to the station and fixed my brakes for me. They explained everything that was done and charged a fair price. I definitely trust my car in their hands and go back to them for routine inspections and any other issues that come up.

Avoid this place

Avoid this place. Something’s not right. I brought my car to Top Energy Car Shop in Northborough for a simple inspection. They told me it failed due to an exhaust issue and said it needed a repair. I left the car from noon to 5 PM, and when I returned, I was hit with a $420 bill for a repair I now believe was completely unnecessary—if any repair was even done at all.

The car had over 40 extra miles on the odometer and the engine had run for more than 3.5 hours. It seems like my car was used without my consent.

Avoid this shop at ALL cost

AAA Repair

Break and fuel line repair

Friendly, honest, and transparent service. My 180k mi+ car broke down in Northborough so I needed my break line repaired ASAP. They took extra care to provide me with feedback about a fuel line which needed preventative maintenance. Service took about a week since they didn't have a fuel line in stock however they followed through on their quote and delivered on time. Other shops in the area didn't want to help me with this repair so I appreciated their service very much!

Always Helpful and Friendly Pros

The guys at top energy always take care of me.
Friendly and professional they always explain exactly the work that will be done
and the prices and possible expenses and ups and downs of anything that might come up. There's no blindsiding or surprises and evenin a few stressful pinches they maintain steady and smiling and helpful in getting what needs to be done within your budget.
Ive gone to them for over 15 years and if the
fates are willing I would be happy to go to

Top Energy’s service

Top energy has serviced all our cars since the day it opened over a decade ago. Ed and his team are the best... friendly, fair, honest and absolutely expert in the work they do. We’ve brought many thorny problems to them over the years and can’t remember ever being disappointed. I especially appreciate how easy it is to communicate with this team. Ed and his people are always responsive, clear in their communications and there when you need them.
