Went in for an oil change, was informed that there were issues with my brakes. I know nothing about c
ars, so Mike invited me into the garage to view first-hand what was going on, and what he and his team look for routinely. That's compassionate customer service!
Granted, this is about a year after someone crashed my car and I asked Mike to put it on his lift to tell me what I needed to restore safe driving. He could have rattled off a littany of work that would have padded the business nicely, but he didn't. He and I worked on a long-term service plan to keep my aging car in good health as long as possible.
I consider Mike a partner in keeping my car in good working order. He has more than adequately held up this arrangement over the years, and I'm grateful for it.
