The mechanics of the garage in Pelham was a referral that I had received from a friend. Our past expe
rience with any mechanic unfortunately has been a nightmare ! One of the biggest being Christian Brothers located in Trussville where our car went in for a simple repair and came out with a major repair. Starting from the beginning we were charged $100 fee just to evaluate the car and the information we gave them was completely opposite of what they fixed. Leaving obviously to more car repairs which we could not afford and ended up losing our car. From the very start at the garage they were in contact even before receiving the car. The day that we took the car in we explain to them where the problem was coming from and gave them a little history on our vehicle. I was very concerned because I was needing to start a new job and they were very understanding. Within a day of having the vehicle they had text us three times the third letting us know that the problem we originally thought was pretty much the issue they gave us an estimate and then allowed us to use a 15% off for new customers on labor. My husband uses a online tool that you can put in what is supposedly wrong with your car and it will evaluate your surrounding area giving you prices for all the local businesses that offer mechanical repairs. Out of all the businesses the garage was significantly less and with our discount even lesser. From the moment they had our car to the moment we received our vehicle back they were incredible. What made them incredible was not just their customer service but their work as well. We have not had one moment's problem out of our vehicle it runs great and even though it cost us more than what we originally hoped we feel like every cent was worth it. I would highly recommend these people they not only have a good background and work ethic but they have something that is hard to find and that is customer service. People today forget that it is the customers that keep them in business not themselves. Thank you Christian Brothers for the job that you have done and for understanding that we have struggles and cannot afford a high cost labor or to bring our vehicle and repeatedly for one thing after the other. It is great finding a mechanic finally that you feel that you can trust that you feel is working for the customer and not for themselves.
