I have always serviced my 2017 Accord at the dealer since new for all oil changes and manufacturer re
commended maintenance. During my last dealer visit on Aug 2025 they recommended the timing belt based on vehicle age as opposed to mileage (I’m at 57.5k). Normally I’d have them do it however they also quoted me a price of $1200 for suspension and $600 for transmission fluid leak with the latter 2 I was skeptical of. Fast forward to March 2026 I decided to give Living the Dream Auto Care a try as a relative had a good experience there. I mentioned the dealer recommendations and they then did their own evaluation. They mentioned the tie rod was a little loose but otherwise the suspension was perfectly fine. Just saved $1200. They also mentioned no leaking of any fluids which saved me another $600. I’ve never seen evidence of any fluid leak in all the time I’ve had the car. They recommended brake system exchange and transmission fluid drain/fill but was able to confirm I had those last done at the dealer within the interval period so I declined those services. I must have called a half dozen times prior to and just after authorizing the work and they were at all times courteous and helpful. I asked for an ETA via text which they immediately responded to and work was done when they said it would be. They put 20 test driven miles on the car to ensure the timing belt was set properly which I really appreciate. They took pictures and explained everything very well. A really fantastic job overall and will continue to use this shop going forward for my current car. Thank you so much!

our state inspection, oil change and break job, but they will dive into more complex and idiosyncratic vehicles like Mercedes Benz and my Jaguar, for either intricate suspension work or a coolant leak. They will restore classics and search for your right & not necessarily expensive part. Needless to say, how smiley they are ;)
