Solid , economic vehicle. Headrests are the only thing uncomfortable about the ride, otherwise, a nice smallcar.Steering is the only major problem that needs to be addressed in next model.

Great car!

Bumpy start, terrible service experience

Within a month or taking my car home, it started leaking gas. I was told it was a manufacturer defect and it would take a week to fix. It actually took 2-3 weeks, and when I drove away the check engine light was still on. It turned out that while my car was at the dealership there was rodent damage and one of the sensors needed to be fixed. The dealership tried to say the damage happened at my house when it was clearly not there when the rodents attacked. If I have to take my car to a Hyundai dealership, I now have to drive three times as far because I have zero faith in Universal Hyundai in Orlando, FL. This experience has also sullied my opinion of the car, truth be told .

This vehicle drives smooth and quiet. It is a comfortable ride.

My Favorite Car!

I drove a Hyundai" Elantra" for 12 years, loved it, & was expecting to buy another one, not because there was anything wrong with it , but I felt at 12 years old it may start having issues. I was thinking I might like an "upgrade" to a small SUV type & I test drove a Hyundai "Kona", but it just didn't feel right to me. The salesman said "Let me show you this", and drove out a Hyundai "Venue". I had never seen this model advertised, (still haven't!), but it was love at first sight! I love the denim blue with white top color scheme & the denim/leather seats . Most of all I love the way it handles & all the safety features that came standard. I should mention that I am 83 years old & this will probably be my last car so I am so happy to have one I enjoy so much!

Hyundai Venue as a "toad" for the motorhome

For our purpose of having a vehicle to drive while our motorhome is parked in a campsite, this has met expectations. There were few options for a FWD with higher ground clearance than the average car. It's lightweight, short, and easy to pull on and back off of our tow dolly. It's a fairly comfortable ride and a good value for $22k (the SE). So far, with over 800 miles, it's averaging 37.8 mpg, and a number of those miles were up steep hills and while idling at the overlooks on Chief Joseph Scenic Byway. The IVT is smooth and likely helps fuel mileage. The back has plenty of room for a case of water and some groceries. If needed for larger items, the back seats fold down. The 10 year/100k mile warranty is added security. There was one on the lot and I got it! I feel lucky. I purchased new and drove a 2011 Hyundai Sonata for many years that was well-worth owning, and I believe this small SUV Venue will be also.
