Like a baby Palisade, only better

After 9 Infiniti Autograph SUVs, I UPGRADED to my Tucson Hybrid Limited. I even enjoy it more than my Palisade Calligraphy. Excellent handling, gas mileage, pep, cargo capacity, and comfort. The one thing that can be improved is the steering wheel, which is a little too firm - needs more leather or something.

Love the car but it broke down after a month

We test drove all the SUVs in the class and chose the Tucson due to its size, comfort, and drive experience. We average about 38 MPGs with this hybrid. Being able to start the car remotely from the app is pretty cool and we use it often to cool down the car before driving. The issue is after only 1300 miles and a month of ownership, the car broke down. It has been at the dealership waiting for a replacement battery for 31 days now. The dealer was able to give us a loaner while we wait for the repair. Hopefully they will be able to repair it soon or we will have to look at pursing a lemon law claim and have Hyundai buy it back. We do love the car -- when it was working that is.

Great vehicle

The Hyundai Tucsan Hybrid Limited is the best car that I've owned (78yrs. old). It's quiet, fuel efficent, drives very well on all roads, and has excellent acceleration. In the past I've had Mazdas and Lincolns. I prefer the Tucsan to both. The interior is comfortable and stylish as is the exterior.

Great technology compared to competitors!

I was looking for a hybrid SUV in this size class and test drove a few different vehicles. I ended up with the Tuscon because of its roomy interior, how well it handled, and because of the dashboard. The technology in this car is way ahead of its competitors and really was a selling point for me. Additionally the interior is designed to maximize the space and it felt so much bigger than comparably sized vehicles.

The best features don't work.

First thing, I overpaid for my car. It was advertised to get 35 mpg. I got worst gas mileage than my RAV-4. They discovered the Hybrid part wasn't turned on. I still only get about 31 mpg. It's worse on the highway, but better in the city than my other car. The heads-up display keeps turning off. The dashboard will display all the sensors lights for some reason - intermittent issue. Occasionally, I'll come out and the fan is running - it's like the car is turned on in accessory mode. So many things wrong with this car. I got a lemon and I don't know how to get out of it since I overpaid for it. I was told it retains its value better than Toyota now - it lost $10,000 in value in the first week. I'm stuck with it.

Great value and I love the amenities!

The 2025 Tucson Hybrid is a really nice vehicle. It is my 3rd Hyundai, the first 2 having been Sonatas. Having said that, I'll start with the things I do not like. The ride is rough...bouncy. The EPA estimated road mileage is 28-29 MPG vs. the advertised 35. I have Android Auto and Sirius/XM, and for whatever reason, the Android Auto often interrupts by playing Spotify when I am currently playing music on Sirius/XM...it happens a lot. The cargo space is small compared to other vehicles in its class, and the wheel wells and the gate opening make it smaller and more difficult to load larger items. The things I like: I have the Limited edition, so the amenities are plentiful. The voice options are amazing. Seat comfort adjustments and ventilation are wonderful. It handles well, unless I hit bumps, then it is awful. The ventilation system seems to do what it wants and when it wants. I don't understand why the AC goes on and off when no buttons are touched while I am driving. It seems that the infotainment panel is too sensitive, as many items go on when not intended to do so. I don't like the "time to take a break" bell warnings, as I am driving to avoid pot holes, pedestrians, cyclists, and other road obstacles when it often warns me. There does not seem to be a way to turn that off. I'd like to turn it off.

Everything I hoped!

It's true that I'm coming from a 2010 minivan with no backup camera that had doors that wouldn't lock so anything, really, would be an improvement. But this car has been wonderful so far! I am kind of a nervous driver and the blind-spot detectors visible on the mirrors as well as the dash and the back-up camera have been a game-changer for my confidence while driving. Here are the other features that I find myself mooning over frequently: starting the air conditioning remotely so it's cooled off when I enter the vehicle, the digital key (running without that huge physical key is so much better), the panoramic sunroof, voice commands, and the great pickup it has when I need it.

I’ve been driving the vehicle for 4000 + miles now. It has exceeded all my expectations from economy,power, comfort and handling. The hybrid is the way to go since the gas version is underpowered.

Great vehicle

I did my homework before buying a "compact SUV". The Hyundai Tucson Hybrid was high on every list and first on a couple of lists. While it is not a luxury SUV, it has all the practical features I wanted and many of the added features one would expect to find on a BMW or Lexus model. It rides quietly, the seats are very comfortable, and it has more than enough room, especially for second row passengers, to not feel cramped in. The stowage area in the back has lots of room for suitcases, groceries, whatever. The navigation system is easy to use and very comprehensive. Unlike many vehicles, gas or hybrid, it actually gets the rated milage. I love everything about this vehicle.

I love my Tucson. It does everything I need it to do. It tows my boat great. Although Hyundai needs to make the wiring harness easier to install. And have it more readily available at etrailer: there is nothing for the 2025. One shouldn’t have to pay $300.

Love my new Tucson

Overall I would definitely recommend this car to friends and family. Very comfortable and quiet. Great technology features, but a big learning curve. Dealer was very helpful to answer all my questions on the technology. Hyundai provides tons of videos to help you learn all the features. Front dash is beautiful with the large display screen. Love the overall look of the exterior car, and love the red color.
