Car Broke down after less than 1000 miles

What a poor job by Hyundai. The "drive by wire" shifter failed and the car had to be towed after less than 1000 miles. Took 5 days to get a replacement part with NO LOANER! What a poor job.

3 Months Later

So far so good, This is the first hybrid I've owned, so getting accustomed to accelerating and braking takes some time. It's very quiet and has great low end torque in town, and has quick acceleration at freeway speed.

With less than 5000 miles on the car the transmission failed while on a road trip far from home. Still awaiting diagnosis and repair….

Navigation and map is crap

The 2025 Hyundai Tucson map is still crap. The traffic color lines (red, green, yellow) only rarely work. The 2016 Tucson had a better map. Technology is supposed to get better over time, not worse. I have complained too many times to count and the issue still has not been resolved.

Hyundai Tuscon Review

Message periodically pops up "Consider Taking a Break" which is distracting/hazardous and cannot be turned off. For a hybrid, gas mileage is poor (<30mpg) Phone charger does not work with my phone case and makes the phone extremely hot. Not sure if it is doing damage.

Great car (with only one minor annoyance at this point)

We have less than 2,000 miles on the car at this point but have made one 1200 mile (round-trip) road trip in it. We are loving it. It drives well, the drivetrain functions well, and we're getting good fuel mileage. The seats are more comfortable than those in our Honda CR-V EX-L were and we don't have to use seat cushions any more. I love the technology and the seamless, wireless Android Auto connection(s) to both of our phones. My one minor complaint is that the HVAC fan is a bit noisy - even on the lowest setting. It would be nice if a firmware update could change that.

Nice car, fun to drive

Nice car, fun to drive, economical. HATE that there is no spare tire. Have already after just three months had to pay for tire repair. Salesman never mentioned that there was no spare. I may have bought a different car if I’d known.

Great SUV Hybrid, sadly held back from being Excellent

Owner of 2025 Tucson Hybrid Limited - white for 5 months and just drove two, 9 hour days south to Florida. Overall style, ride comfort, conveniences, including 360 camera, safety features, steering assist, MGPe are great. Things we wish were different or offered: 1. Auto liftgate triggered only by key/phone is insufficient. Should be able to open via wave of foot under rear like our Ford Edge had. Too many time, the gates opens when yiu pass by and can't get away fast enough in 5 seconds. Several times, we've dangerously found the tailgate opened w/o being aware. 2. Limited should have adaptive headlights. Not used to dealing with darkness turning into streets on rural roads. 3. No included spare is a bad idea. Had to purchase $500 kit separately. Fix a flat included not sufficient if pothole destroys the tire. 4. Limited not having auto fold in side mirrors is disappointing. 5. Not a fan of the look of teardrop design of tail lights. 6. Limited should include illuminated sill plates. Our sales person told us it was, but turns out it was a $500 add on in the test vehicle we drove. Dealership should pay for it due to misleading us. 7. We have received low battery warnings in app several times when car was parked in garage for 5-7 days. Liftgate needs to be opened as workaround to unlock other doors. Have to use button jump small battery in.order to reset and drive car. Troubling.

I love this car

I took a long time picking out this car, it's the last new car I'm ever going to own. It's comfortable, has tons of room (even in the back seat). Love the moonroof (tho the controls are kind of sensitive and it can be hard to get it to just tilt and not open all the way). Very stingy on gas. Love the interior appearance but need to read the manual to find all the settings options.

Hyundai 2025 Tucson

The car has no pick-up power. Going from 1st gear to 2nd is slower than molasses. The alert signal has become very loud and I can’t seem to turn down the volume. My vehicle never came with the cargo screen and cargo net. I have not figured out how to lock the car doors except for the button on the key fob . My other cars always had a sensor in the handle that you just touched.
