It’s got a lot of nice features but some dumb ones also. The lights on the panel that controls heated seats, etc., are imposible to see on a sunny day. The water bottle holders in the doors are ridiculous. They are too skinny and I have to squeeze the bottle to get it in. Also when I finally get it in it falls down to the bottom of the well in a horizontal position which makes it very hard to squeeze out. Sometimes the “Should you take a break light” comes on when I have only been driving for ten minutes. When I had my son driving one day it came on every fifteen seconds or so. We had to stop and switch drivers. When viewing the screen between the large gauges it will say push the O,K. button. Where the heck is the O.K. button? When I come to a street where I have to merge with traffic I have to break while waiting for a space to enter. If I don’t remember to take my foot off the brake I will hit the accelerator and nothing will happen. Very dangergous. It should have interior controlled retractable mirrors like my old Kia Sportage.

Great vehicle but lousy gas mileage!

I like almost everything about the hybrid Tucson except the gas mileage. The AWD version is supposed to get 35 mpg. I have 10k miles on it and have never gotten close to this. Now that winter is here, I am getting around 25mpg.

Smooth driving hybrid

The Tucson hybrid is a very quite, comfortable and responsive vehicle to drive. The tech on my Ltd model is very up to date and fairly easy to use. The only real complaint is that the gas mileage is not quite as high as I would like.

Great Ride... when it wants to start

Was looking for a 4WD/AWD hybrid suv that still had some buttons to actually adjust things without having to use a screen for basics. The ride is smooth and quiet, features have been nice upgrade, and dealership/service has been great. However... When you go to get in the vehicle and it won't open and won't start ... Yeah becomes a deal breaker real fast. Taking it back in as 12-volt system is again bad; have to pop handle to get in with manual key, pop the hood and jump it if it sits for more than a few days - NOT ACCEPTABLE! I work from home and don't need to drive every day but I need a reliable vehicle and this is not it. Getting very good at jumping this vehicle though the "requirement" of having a jumper pack on hand for regular use of vehicle is not working for me. It's not like it gets driven, I'm averaging about 1350 miles a month just doesn't get driven every day. I should be able to let a vehicle sit in garage or someplace like airport for a few days without concerns that I can't drive it again (I'm in WI and ice coating makes getting to manual door lock is a pain).

I’m disappointed in the way the doors lock and unlock. You can’t push the inside lock button as you can on normal cars, for instance if I have unloaded my groceries and purse and taken them in and come back out for last things I can’t lock the doors by button nor holding the outside handle, it’s impossible, I have to go in and retrieve my purse with the fob and come back out and get close to the car to lock, I hate this. Gas mileage is disappointing as well fir a small hybrid, and I def in my car in a carline at school and I can’t shut my car off and just listen to the radio over 10 minutes without it saying battery is discharging and start the car. I would not buy another one.

All around strong performing, fuel saving, roomy vehicle

This is our first hybrid. Love the peppiness; I can get to highway speed midpoint on any ramp I've been on when entering a freeway. Room to carry items or people and yet small enough to park most places.

New Tucson

My wife and I enjoy our new 2025 Tucson Hrbrid Blue. We are getting good mileage and feel comfortable with the many safety features. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but meets our needs as two retirees.

First new car

Love this car. Only issues are that I can’t reach things placed in the passenger floor area from the drivers side because of the height of the central console and, as a short person (just over 5 ft), I find the height of the car itself too tall, and the steering wheel obscures view of the start button

Decent Buy

Overall a nice ride and driving experience. The Hybrid is very smooth at start up and acceleration. Not a race car but good acceleration when needed. Vision around the entire SUV is very good and enhanced with the multiple cameras. A nice sound system makes long drives easier as does the multiple driver assist systems that take a lot of the load off the driver. There are almost too many options in the vehicle but once they are set up to individual driver settings they work as advertised. The mileage is in the high 20's depending on type of driving, city or highway. On the con side locking the doors can be an ordeal. If there is one of the two key fobs inside the locked vehicle apparently anyone can unlock the vehicleby grabbing the door handle, not a good thing. Having to sign in every start up is a real pain especially when we have to wait on the vehicle to catch up so sign in is available before driving. Closing the rear hatch from the drivers seat requires pressing and holding the appropriate button until the hatch is closed. The phone charger is positioned so if you have sunlight coming in the windshield the phone is in the sunlight which is not a great thing for the phone.
