Nice car, but still working out kinks

Overall I love the car, super cute body style, love the hybrid, comfortable inside and during the drive. There are just some minor issues that hopefully will be worked out in the next versions that would make the car amazing. One of the most notable is why is this the only electric car that beeps loudly when backing up? I do not think any other manufacturer still does that. And the headlights turning on if even in the shadow of a truck, I would say they are a little too sensitive and too quickly like passing under an overpass on a highway and they go on already. It can't be good for the electronics to keep turning on and off.

My Tucson would be perfect if it had a CVT instead of a 6 speed automatic. I say this because how annoying the downshifts are when going up a hill.

Comfort and control

Overall, it drives nicely. When you hit a bump though, it feels like you are going to lose control of your steering. The headrest is absolutely horrid! I cannot sit comfortably in the seat because the headrest forces my head forward. Very disappointed in the seated comfort when I'm driving.

My 4th Hyundai

My first 3 cars always made there annual trips between MO. And the UP. Of MI. They were comfortable to drive, had sufficient acceleration, and gas mileage was excellent. My 4th vehicle is this Tucson for the ease it provides this elderly body.

Disappointed with gas mileage

I was very much in love with my Tucson for about a year. Then, my gas mileage went from averaging 36mpg to below 30mpg. The sticker stated 36mpg and that was one of the reasons for my purchase.

Comfy, fun to drive but warning for sports moms: back seat cup holders are two small for water bottles to fit. Cup holder extender required. This has to be removed to push up armrest.

2024 Hyundai Tucson

Overall, I enjoy my vehicle. Even for a base model, it provides a lot of advanced features that I take advantage of. The only thing I would love to change is being able to control the volume of the backup alarm. While it is a safety feature being able to adjust, the volume would be a nice feature. As I tend to leave early in the morning as I’m backing out of my driveway, it can disturb the neighbors. Suggestions range from disconnecting to muffling the alarm, but having the ability to adjust, it would be preferable.

The Perfect SUV for me

After owning a 2018 Kia Sorento for 6 years, I was convinced of the reliability of the Hyundia family. After several months of research and test drives, I found the right one, a 2024 Tucson Hybrid N-Line. I love the touchpad infotainment screen integrated into the center instrument panel [ as opposed to the "laptop on the dash" look that so many other SUV's have]. Besides 24000 miles of problem-free performance, it has all the safety features from adaptive cruise control to all the safety cameras & sensors. It's well bolstered front seats make handling turns a comfortable experience, along with the quiet cabin. I considered a Lexus (having previously owned on), but decided to keep the $20K difference in my pocket.
