Good minivan

My wife and I like our 2016 Town & Country. When we purchased the vehicle I also purchased a 7 year 100,000 mile extended factory warranty. Over the years the warranty paid us back and allowed us to have it professionally serviced at the dealership. As everyone knows the dealership charges very high prices for labor and parts but have factory trained mechanics. (Side note: even factory trained mechanics sometimes try to cut corners). After my warranty expired At 120.000 miles a lifter developed a tapping sound. I had all the lifters , rocker arms and one exhaust Camshaft replaced by a Chrysler dealer. This was a disappointing experience. They did a VERY sloppy job and OVERCHARGED for Mopar original parts. ( I checked prices on the Mopar retail site). At 126,000 miles a transmission issue developed. Fortunately I took out a CarShield extended warranty after my Rocker arm replacement. I went to Delray Beach Chrysler which was very busy and has a labor rate of over $300.00 per hour. I next went to AAMCO Transmission repair who expertly rebuilt my transmission in Three days and got me back on the road (thank you Moti, AAMCO and CarShield). Overall I like the design, room, comfort, visibility and Stow and Go rear seats. Due to the very high prices of new cars and relatively low resale trade in value I have decided to keep our garage kept car for at least one more year. I hope this review helps. AP

Why did the idiots stop making these?

I buy only used vehicles. I’m on my 4th minivan, all Chrysler products. I’ve loved them all, but my 2016 has been my favorite. All sorts of bells & whistles, it’s very comfortable, handles well and I have been very lucky with it mechanically. And a great thing about minivans, they’re versatile and mine has transported a bunch of people and/or cargo comfortably. I guess I’ll go with a Pacifica next time, if I buy a Chrysler product at all. Damn shame that some get to make important decisions.

Bought the 2016 Chrsler town and country at S&J about 6 months ago with a little over 100K miles on it. Fits the bill for what we needed, highly recommend the vehicle and S&J for good treatment and experience.

My best favorite car.

Of all the cars I have owned, the Chrysler Town & Country is my favorite. It has everything you could want in a car. The only problem I had is with the rear camera. all of a sudden it is not working 100%. It does work occasionally. The car does have a slight bubbling paint problem on the front edge caused by the heat. Other than that, it is very comfortable and runs great.

Ok if cost is a major concern.

Trades my dodge caravan due to its age and found the town n country. Motor power was less, gearing required more motor effort on small hills, mileage was cut by a third. Transmission went out at 100,000 miles, oil spout leakage at 125,000 miles, door problems,(not closing properly, not locking properly). Would not buy again.

Wouldn’t buy another one they are not good vehicles they have to many defects

They’re great when you have a large family but they were not made well we have spent way too much money repairing this thing for a vehicle that is only six years old I wish I had talked to mechanics about this vehicle before buying it since having this vehicle and taking it to the shop I have found out so many things about this vehicle and the problem is it has Chrysler should have done a recall the oil filter housing adapter brakes causing you to lose oil and blow your engine I got lucky mine didn’t blow only because the radiator went out first we’ve spent over $5000 on repairs for this vehicle so far and we still need more we have to replace the whole exhaust system now and then we can start finding a little problems like why art in vehicle entertainment quit working And her back up camera

More than expected

This is the second Chrysler Town and Country that I've owned. This vehicle is very comfortable and all the controls are close but not cramped. This model has all the power items as well as heated seats and steering wheel. I didn't expect the entertainment center or av hookups in the center seating area as well as sun shades to block out the light. The middle seats, along with the rear seats are stow-and-go and gold nearly into the floor for extras cargo space if needed.

He got the car it and put tires on it and did not have to wait all day for tires very polite . And also sold me a great tires and did not tell me anything it was junk. I am very pleased with the service

If it was just a little bit less noisy it be great.

What can you say it's a minivan it functions like any other minivan it has a nice creature comforts but it is a little noisy you hear the road a lot It would be nice if a compass could be incorporated

Maximum storage and utility

I love my Chrysler town and country. Both the third row and second row of seats fold into the floor to provide a flat deck. I have even hauled spinet piano’s in the minivan. It also holds seven people with the seats up. It is tremendously useful for hauling all kinds of things. It also has a lot of storage, including two glove compartments in front, which I really like, and a multitude of cup holders. It is also geared low, so that it has ample acceleration. Great Car

I’m a gig driver for Über. My Chrysler Town and Country has fantastic Bells & Whistles! Opening doors at the push of a button makes my job easier! My gas usage is low giving me more opportunity to save money. I love My Lil Red Wagon! C~

Love my Town & Country

I can't believe Chrysler has discontinued the Town & Country in favor of the Pacifica. The Town & County is a fantastic vehicle. Versatile, comfortable, economical, & the best of the minivans. I would buy a new one, but they don't make them anymore.

Excellent and roomy

Nice clearance, features to make more room or seats for people are awesome. Reclining features on seats are nice as well as the hide away seats in floor. Good gas mileage and media features and fairly comfortable ride. Handles well on the road. My husband loves the van

Amazing Minivan

The best minivan ever made. Bummer they built the Pacifica to replace a perfectly designed and built minivan. search for a preowned Town and Country and do not buy the Pacifica. Save money and get a much better vehicle.

Great 2016 Vehicle!!!

I was not pleased with the pricing and the layout of the Chrysler Pacifica when it came out. I looked far and wide for the previous style Town and Country which was last in production 2016. Found one that was turned in from a 2 year lease. Great vehicle! I have had Chrysler minivans since the 1980's and will probably have one always. My hope is to keep this vehicle until 2024 or 2025 and then see what Chrysler has in the way of an electric minivan. I have kept past vehicles 8 or 9 years and have had great luck selling the used vehicle as I keep the vehicle clean and well maintained.
