you will ever meet. Sent me home many times saying my breaks were fine. My heart is broken that they have closed. Don't know why but, it's a darn shame because they were the last of the honest local businesses around. Hope they see the many excellent reviews and know that their clients fully appreciate them. Now where the heck will I find a trusted mechanic???

We found our way to Hoffmans after he was recommended several times in the local Montclair Facebook g
roups. After getting an outrageous quote from the dealership for an issue, decided to bring the car here for a second opinion and hopefully a solution. They diagnosed and fixed the car all in the same day and I was so grateful. What needed to be done was nothing the dealership told me, so I believe he helped keep me from getting scammed, as it was simpler and a tenth of a fraction of the cost. Will be using him to service our 3 Audis going forward.

I heard a rough idling noise coming from underneath my car’s hood. Took it to E.R.M. And the employe
es explained to me that the water pump needed to be replaced. They asked me if I wanted the water pump fixed and I told them yes I would. It took only about a day and a half, and when I got the car back it was very operable and able to be driven without any unusual noise coming from under the hood. The repair was a little pricey as the pump part cost about $278.00 and it was listed in most online databases as $108 - $130 but the V-ribbed tensioner belt could also have factored in to the cost as well.
