Every Time I bring my car in for service oil change or point inspection or get my tires rotated or if I have any recall they have always done Awesome Job and All The Staff Is Professional And Polite Always Checking On Me And See If There Is Anything I Need And Also Keeps Me Informed About What is Going On With My Car? I am Truly Blessed And Grateful For You All? On 12/11/2023 I Had A Oil Change And Other Work Done On My Car And It’s Driving And Running Awesome ?
Wouldn’t Go Anyplace Else But WorldCar Kia South? Thank You All Again??????

Totally satisfied. With service and sales
I am totally satisfied with the service departments professional treatment and knowledge as well as quick servicing of my vehicle. While waiting for my vehicle I relax in their lounge with free Starbucks coffee in their lounge and usually have nice conversations with other customers. The sales staff checks in at least once a month to see if there are any problems, which so far we hav had no problems. The vehicle I now drive a2022 Pallisade is the best vehicle I have owned in 54 years of ownership of cars.

All times we had our vehicle serviced
When our vehicle is in for service it usually takes about an hour. I sit in their lounge and drink Free Starbucks Coffee and get involved with conversations with other customers which makes time go by faster. The service department personnel are always friendly and answer all my questions without making me fell unknownledgeable. I did find that if I have a direct service department telephone number I can easily contact them. The sales department makes monthly calls to use to check if everything’s all right with our vehicle and any contacts with the dealership. I would rate the total service department at a 10 and the total firm as a 10+

Service after sale poor
No one apparently answers the phone at the dealership. Once you do have someone on the line, no one can help you. When you ask to speak to a supervisor they coincidently are off. All in need is Tom find out if my plates had come in and apparently there’s only ONE PERSON who has the authority to do that. This is a very poorly run operation. If I was the owner and I read this review, there would be several people fired. Service is the ONLY thing that keeps customers coming back.

$7,500 in finance add-ons without consent
Do NOT buy a car here, they will add on finance products that you DO NOT WANT OR AGREE TO. Here’s the TLDR: $7,500 additional finance products without my consent, resultant higher interest and monthly payment amounts, 3 months of battling to process a refund I never should have needed. Here’s the longer version: I have purchased many cars over the years (new and used) and this was by far my worst experience. I purchased a new Hyundai, walked in told them the model I wanted and agreed to a price on the spot. The finance department then proceeded to take almost 4 hours to process the paperwork, at the end of which I was shown the final purchase order with $7,500 of additional warranties and insurance that 1. I was NEVER given any prices for, and 2. that I explicitly told them I did NOT want, without even knowing the price! The excuse was verbatim “oh I’ll have to re-print everything and that will take so long”. However, four hours had gone by, and it was near closing time, so in the interest of good faith I went ahead and agreed after reviewing and understanding that I could come back the next day and cancel for a full refund. HOWEVER, note that I have been accruing interest on a loan that is $7500 larger than it should have been, and am obligated to almost $100 per month higher payments, then was originally discussed. Sure enough, true to their word they cancelled the various add-ons. That was 3 months ago, and I finally got some refund, except for the GAP policy refund, which as of writing this, I am told was mailed to my bank but they have not seen it. Here’s the TLDR: $7,500 additional finance products without my consent, resultant higher interest and monthly payment amounts, 3 months of battling to process a refund I never should have needed.

Hyundai makes good vehicles, their service department needs help
The service department of this dealer seems understaffed or untrained. Over four months to get a part (TPMS) that most tire shops have in stock. It took multiple calls to get someone in the service department to answer the phone, over two week wait for an opening. Even with an appointment, almost four hours to replace one TPMS unit. Then it looks like they replaced the unit on the wrong tire, error message still on. Multiple calls and left messages. Finally had a service advisor answer: just drive it for a couple days and the error message might go away (it hasn't). Giving up and paying a tire shop to do it.

They were fast, efficient, helpful, communicated with me when ready within an hour and a half, and walked me out to my car as a courtesy. WOW!! Loved the whole experience!

Up sell attempt eats up half a day
You request a specific service. Parts are not ordered until they attempt to sell you service they recommend but is not an immediate need. Few hour job turns into 2 days without a working vehicle and they don't think you need to know this and leave for the day without advising you'll have to wait til tomorrow.

Bought the car here and ever service visit after has been a nightmare
I had my antenna torn off back in December and when I spoke to the service people to ask for a quote I was told that they wouldn’t be able to provide the new antenna for my car despite the vehicle only being a year old. The service manager told me to try Autozone and rushed me out of the building. I was able to track down the part on my own with no help from the dealership and found the genuine Hyundai OEM part when I discussed labor cost with them to have it installed I was quoted over double the cost of another World Car Hyundai dealership I had quote me for this service. The only time I have been treated with any semblance of respect was when I bought the car, and they will never get my business again.

Never again. Selling my car to be done with Hyundai forever. Not just this location but all of them are horrible. I can’t even really fault the people that work here since it sounds like they’ve just been subject to the mistakes of the company at large. Do your own research. Talk to other owners. Good luck.
