Unexpected personal attention!
I came to Windermere after a simple Google Search. My good luck! I went on line, found them, filled out a quick “make appointment” form, and received a call back in less than an hour from Mark. Made an appointment for the next day. The dealership had given me an estimate repair bill in the 5 figures for AC issues for my 2012 vehicle with just under 80,000 miles.. Windermere was used as a “second opinion”. Upon arrival was greeted, checked in and awaited my turn. Within a short time, Mark approached me, sat next to me and we talked at length about the AC issues I was having, and about what the dealer had determined. He took the car into his bay for inspection. Awhile later, Mark took me into the shop and thoroughly went over his findings, with me by his side, as he showed me with his flash lite what he found and his opinion. Another 1/2 hour or so my car was finished. Now he and I determined, for a small fraction of the dealer’s cost, repair options. Perhaps the repairs will work and this is the end of this issue, or perhaps the problem will resurface. But Mark’s findings and ascertains were reasonable and I agreed. Well worth the fraction of the dealer’s estimate. The point being he and I made the decisions together. Very impressed and will not be returning to the dealer in the future!
