The tech seems to have gotten the problem fixed, but it was very expensive!
Overall, I gave an above average rating for the customer service received. I was disappointed in the cost of the repairs, but the garage worked with me as far as the logistics of picking up and delivering my van. Ed Melcher has been somewhat hard to get a hold of which is discouraging. Ed had texted me and asked if I had any questions concerning the work done on my van,. After some deliberation, I texted back and asked him a question. That has been about a week ago and I have not heard back. The question I had was, what was the part that broke or stopped working and therefore replaced? I was told the day of the estimate what work was going to be done, but I have forgotten because I don’t remember details well. I had asked Ed to text me and tell me what exactly had been fixed and why the part had failed. Having it in writing would give me a lot better chance of remembering because I could re-read it as much as necessary.No more use than this van gets, I was surprised that the part had failed. He said possibly it was a faulty part. I’m trying to find out if there is a way to keep this from happening again. And, I wonder if operating the door of the van in below zero temperatures could have caused the part to fail? Unfortunately, our weather gets cold and sometimes when I operate the door in the cold weather, it does not work, such as opening and or closing, and or the ramp may or may not extend or retract. I think, but I am not positive, that is the first time I noticed the problem was after use in the cold weather. After paying well over $2000 to fix an issue that was probably not caused by any fault of mine is very discouraging, so again, I would like to keep it from happening again if possible. I understand if Ed is busy and has not had a chance to respond, but I hope he will do so when he can. Thank you for the chance to ask questions.

Rachel said it was difficult to diagnose, it was really hard for them, but they were able to figure it out. It took quite a bit of time, she didn't get updates on Friday when she wished, but everything was great and she recommends them.

Nikkie said she brought her vehicle in to have the chair-lift fixed. They went above and beyond to accommodate her, and even gave her a discount and worked through their lunch break to get it done. She appreciated that so much.

Resolved a complicated Automatic Braking System (ABS) problem
I had a fairly complicated ABS problem on my RV which Willard's mechanic worked on in a timely manner until it was resolved. The problem involved the wheel sensor, wiring to it, and the ABS controller. They had to interface with Mercedes Benz to get the new controller programmed. They are very professional.

An unexpected adventure.
I want to say thanks to everyone that worked on my RV. It was a big job dealing with the rear end. I also want to thank ED for understanding where I was coming from to have to say in the RV till it was fixed. I want to say it's working great.

Willard's Garage ordered my tail light assembly and called me when it came in. I made an appointment and got right in. They replaced my part, charged me a fair price and I was out of there in less than an hour. I will definitely use them again.
