Finally! An honest mechanic shop!
After spending over $1100 between AAA & a Mini Cooper dealership who wanted to charge me another $800 for another battery after registering a battery that was purchased and installed by AAA, my intuition was to go to the garage across the street from my job and talk to them. They LISTENED! We scheduled to have a diagnostic test and within 2 days, my Mini was back on the road with a new alternator and driving like new! It was the best experience I’ve had at a mechanic shop since buying imports in 2020! They got straight to the point. No BS. No “well we think it might be…. But if we fix this, and there’s still a problem, it could be…” And no wondering when will I get my car back? They said. “Friday.” And they called me Friday saying it’s ready! PLUS… They said the job was done in less time than expected, so the final fee was less than what was quoted!!! Honest people! No more dealership for me! Now I can buy another BMW because I won’t have to worry about finding a great mechanic. I’m very pleased!
