I had my Hyundai Santa Fe 2022 model car serviced at Tustin Hyundai on 5/4/2023 for the regular 10K miles service. I observed that post the service, my car mileage has gone down substantially. Prior to the service my car mileage was around 22 to 23 miles per gallon (city), but after the service the mileage had reduced to only 17 - 18 mpg (city). I did observe the mileage for a couple of weeks post service and I booked an appointment with Tustin Hyundai again on 5/23/2023 to check for the mileage. The below issues were reported on 5/23/2023, however, nothing was fixed.
1. Fuel level going down fast. Drove 25 miles and the car display shows as driven 100 miles in a day. Tustin Hyundai was unable to duplicate the fuel level decreasing issue and closed it without fixing.
2. Vehicle pick up has gone down post 10K service. Vehicle is dragging, resulting in more fuel consumption. Tustin Hyundai was unable to duplicate the lack of power issue and closed it without fixing.
3. Android Auto not functioning properly and map is not getting displayed in the panel. Works intermittently. When trying to select maps in display, the menu option gets displayed instead of the map. Again this issue was also not resolved and Tustin Hyundai service department was not able to recreate the issue again and closed the issue without fixing it.
I was requested by an agent from Tustin Hyundai to observe the car for few more weeks and return back to them if issue still persists.
As requested, I observed the car for few more weeks, and again booked a service appointment on 6/15/2023 with the same 3 issues as stated above. Again, Tustin Hyundai was unable to recreate or duplicate the issue and closed the request without fixing my concerns.
Adding to the above, I observed one more issue with the car recently. The right rear tire is losing pressure very fast. Seems that there is some air leakage in the right rear tire. I called up Tustin Hyundai and stated that this issue is critical as the tire might blow up if not attended immediately. The customer service member from Tustin Hyundai was not helpful or friendly and she mentioned that we cannot prioritize this and that I need to take an appointment for this, atleast a week later from today (8/11/2023). Not sure why customer support team from Tustin Hyundai is so aweful.
I need help in fixing the below issues at the earliest possible:
1. Check the car engine and mileage need to be improved.
2. Car pickup is not good and experiencing dragging while driving.
3. Software issue - Maps not getting displayed in the infotainment system
4. Software issue - Intermittent issue while reading USB
5. Software issue - Tire pressure not getting displayed in the digital odometer panel
6. Issue with right rear tire. The other 3 tires psi are 35, while the right rear tire psi dropped to 12 psi. Possible air leak and the psi level keeps reducing. Screenshots can be provided upon request.
