Admittedly, I'm not very mechanical but, when I brought my truck in because the clutch was slipping they told me it needed to be replaced and would cost 3500.00. I did some checking with other local shops and found their quotes ranged from 1200.00 to 1800.00 for replacement. Once I took it to the other shop they found that it only needed to be adjusted not replaced. Nice try on the massive overbilling & fraud Truck Centers.
