Wouldn't even acknowledge my presence.
Stopped in to talk to them about my brakes and front end work.
I went in and only a mechanic there and totally ignored me. I said hi, excuse me, waved and said hello again. He looked at me didn't say a word and cursed at his tools. Another couple can in and waited as well then asked for Bo. He replied to them he's out.
Still not acknowledged me. So I left!!
I wouldn't recommend this place!! Go somewhere that has some customer service or at least acknowledges you!!!

Friendly, honest service every time.
Bo has been doing work on our '98 Chevy ranch truck over the year or two. Honest work for an honest dollar every time, we admire that. My family has been on our ranch for 4 generations and we highly recommend Tripps Auto... nobody better, hands down, no contest.

Only trustworthy shop in Durango!
Tripp's is the only place I'll trust to work on my vehicles in Durango, local shop with trustworthy employees and the upmost quality in workmanship and turnaround time, was the only shop in town able to fix my moms vans random suspension rattle she had been annoyed by for years, and as well as going above and beyond on his inspection of my truck and finding that my brakes were metal to metal and was able to get it turned around same day so I wasn't out a vehicle and was back safe on the road. If you're going to go anywhere for service, it's Tripp's or bust!

Beau saved our family vacation
Our family van broke down in the middle of the night while traveling to Durango from out of state. Beau started working on our van in the morning, quickly diagnosing the problem and notifying me of what it would take to fix it, and how long.
He had our alternator, serpentine belt and pulley replaced, and our battery tested and recharged by that evening, all without trying to inflate the costs.
He was very helpful and informative, offering to drive me over from our hotel, and telling me about other non-critical issues he noticed about our van.
He salvaged what could have been a disastrous end to our family vacation and got us on the road again.

Best Auto Service In Town!
Hands down THE best automotive repair shop in Durango! The engine blew in my Toyota Sequoia and Beau installed a new motor. The final price came in right at the quoted price and the job was done on time. I have been driving on this engine for over a year and have had no problems at all. Beau is a delight to work with and you can tell he is passionate about his work. You can't say that for any other mechanic. We have also brought our trailers to Beau for maintenance. I can not say enough about Beau and we recommend him to all our friends!

Great Sad Story
He warned me about my car becoming a no-op in the near future. Came and picked me up off the side of the road when it happened. Helping me recycle my car as well.

SO NICE!!
We were desperate to get long neglected maintenance done on a pickup and boat trailer so we could move them after my fathers death 2 days earlier. Beau worked us in between his scheduled work, thoroughly checked the truck for maintenance and safety issues and did the necessary work for a very reasonable price. He made a difficult time much much easier!!

Beau is incredibly honest and personable, but also professional. Had to have my catalytic converters replaced. He gave me service options but left the decision to me. Final price came in almost right on estimate. Also, previous mechanics have had my vehicle for days and sometimes weeks longer than anticipated for a repair. Beau gave me a time frame and I think he worked overtime to make sure he got it back to me in that time frame. Made it very clear that if I felt anything was off to give him a call. He is truly great to work with and I will return for sure. Highly recommend.
