They told me that they don't do that there and to have the work done by their sub-contractor, Beach City Autoglass. I also asked about the type of glass and was told a certified aftermarket windshield would be fine. I had the windshield replaced and went back to the dealership for the recalibration since there are cameras on it. I was then informed that it would be an additional cost of $600 + to do this. I was also told that I could of had the work done there and have the OEM windshield installed. So now I have to go back to their sub-contractor to have the recalibration. What about my warranty??? Still good ??? They lied to me and when confronting the General Manager, he basically said that's the way it goes. Yeah, just go back to our sub-contractor who we have nothing to do with???? Now I'm going up the ladder to Toyota Corporate. If they don't resolve this, it's off to legal and massive exposure on social media and the news. I won't stop until the entire planet knows how they operate.
Do the right thing HB of Toyota. Admit you or your incompetent service manager put me out. Replace my windshield with the correct one and recalibrate it.
