Brake job
I’ve been to Tinker’s many times over the years, and I’ve always found them to be completely honest and dependable. They’ll fix what you need and advise you of any concerns, but they don’t try to upsell for $$$ like many other garages do. Even today, I brought my van in for a brake job, and told them I wasn’t sure if I needed just fronts or front & rear. They assessed the issue, fixed just the fronts and advised me of the remaining life on my rear brakes. I’ve seen other shops that would replace everything just because I didn’t know better, just for the $$$, whether I needed the repairs or not. Also, the owner is local, and his reputation for honesty & hard work precede him everywhere he goes. For these reasons, I trust Tinker Automotive and highly recommend them to anyone.
