Bram is an outstanding performer at his trade. My wife and I have been taking various vehicles to him since at least 2019 if not 2018. His service is swift and reliable. His prices are always fair and he works hand in hand with his customer to provide the best service. I would have to move far away to consider seeing anyone else. Bram never dissapoints.

Maintenance S80 XC70
Both cars in for oil filter and tire rotations. XC70 routine services, fair price for car Bram has known for 15 years. He knows all their quirks and fixes them. If he finds more problems, he fixes them. Never had a call back in 15 years.
I bought my S80 from him very used as previous owner wouldn't pay to fix it. Bram brought it back to great running condition and it will be 20 years old. Best all-weather car I've ever owned as Bram fixed the 4wd system. He treats the car as if he still owns it. Stumped
mechanics call him. I recommend him to every Volvo owner I see with the cars. When I spot Volvo that might need work I put his business card under their wiper. I never ask him the price, he's always fair. I've driven Volvos over 1,000,000 miles in 50 years. Best mechanic I've used.

Bram Hower my hero!!
Bram correctly diagnosed my XC70 as in need of having the turbocharger replaced. The Volvo Dealer in a different part of the country misdiagnosed the problem. Bram saved me a bundle.

every time i take my volvo xc 70 to the swede shop with a problem it gets fixed and feels like a new car after . Brahm knows these cars , he's friendly and explains clearly the work he has done.

I love this place!!
I’ll definitely be going back for all my Volvo needs. This Bram is a Wizard!! Very nice and very friends and very professional. If you ever have trouble with your car I suggest the Swede shop! I’ll definitely be going there for all my car needs wether it’s a Volvo or not. He’s done great work and he’s good with getting you in and out in a good time!

Bram Hower is an exceptional mechanic for your Volvo
I have been going to the Swede Shop for the past two years. Every time I have engaged with Bram it has been a very professional and personal experience. I have two Volvo cars an S60 turbo and a S80. He is very knowledgeable about his profession having been employed at his previous job in Erie, PA working at the Volvo dealership there as a mechanic for many years. Now that he has his own business just south of Meadville, PA located near Hadley, PA it has been a much shorter trip for me to have my cars serviced. I am very pleased with the work that he has serviced on both of my cars. He is fast with new parts, easy to set appointments with and is very good with communications in anything that he will be doing and when it will be completed. He types all the different parts, costs and completed statements for future reference it need be. All in all you will have an excellent experience knowing that Bram Hower will Steer you correctly and have no worries about the servicing of your vehicles.

Expert service and honesty you can't beat
Have taken several vehicles for service. As much as nobody wants to spend money on car reapir, you will never find a more honest, thorough and expert mechanic than Bram at the Swede Shop. Worth every penny, every time!
Purchased our first Volvo. Did some research online and found the Swede Shop. Everything from the start was professional forward and honest. Very happy with the work completed and the price. Would recommend anyone to this shop that has a Volvo.
I had a car that should have gone to it's grave.
Bram brought it back and made it a gem.
I can not say enough good things about how he worked with me over this.
