Honest, clear and reasonable
I towed my car in as as it wouldn’t start. They set expectations up front that it would be a couple days before they were able to look at it. Sure enough, they looked at it at right when they said they would. I got a call first thing in the morning next day with a full report of what they found, what they tried, and what was beyond their capabilities. While they were unable to diagnose the problem, the fact that they were on-time, communicated clearly, and didn’t needlessly continue to work on it was appreciated. The charge for the diagnostic was very reasonable, too. I’m new to the area and have been looking for a reliable non-dealer, non-chain shop. While it wasn’t repaired, based upon this experience, I think I’ve found my shop, and will definitely be bring my other vehicles here in the future.
