Customer Since 2007
I have been coming to Terrace Auto Repair since some time in 2007 when I moved back to Tampa from New York. Karen at the front desk is friendly and always accommodating. She knows a lot about cars and car parts, too, and is always on the lookout for the best quality parts at the best price. The mechanics are honest and do excellent work. If it is possible to wait a little while before a repair needs to be done, they will let you know. However, if it is not safe to wait, they will let you know that as well. Shane is a great owner and is an excellent mechanic as well. He rolls up his sleeves and gets right in there with the others so that work is completed on schedule and customers are not inconvenienced with having to wait too long for their vehicles. Even the UPS man brings his truck to Terrace Auto Repair for service. I moved to Gainesville 18 months ago and I will make an appointment at Terrace Auto to have repairs done that the Dealership says I need when I take my car in for a free service. Often the repairs are done at half the dealership price or they are repairs that are not needed at all because the dealership did not take the next step to insure the repair was necessary - they just looked at the mileage on the car and made an assumption and did not check out the assumption. I am definitely a satisfied customer, and cannot say enough good things about Terrace Auto Repair and the people who wo there!

Luis said the lady at the front desk has wonderful energy, and was helpful and considerate. He said the owner Shane took good care of him. He didn't have to wait and everything was perfect. The pricing was great. Luis said the quality of the body of work was successful, the business will be seeing more of him and whomever he refers.

Robert said he had taken the vehicle to the dealership for an oil change and they said he needed to get an axle done. He had previously been to the business and they found an additional problem and quoted much cheaper than the dealership. It was only $30 more than the quote 2 years ago with a 1 year warranty, the lady at the front desk was very helpful.
