Went to buy a vehicle tonight had agreed upon price. Questioned dealer processing fee the sales manager came over and said " I just wanted to thank you for your time ".
I mean what a rude condescending person. who does business like that!? I surely hope the owner of Tate is proud of his employees. what a way to do business.

Terrible Customer service
I rarely post a negative review, however the experience we have had at Tate is worth sharing to spare a potential future customer aggravation. We purchased a brand-new Pacifica in December 2023 that has been nothing but a nightmare starting 8 hours after purchase. We have since had 5 check engine light come on without resolution after five service attempts. We had multiple frustrating encounters with the service manager who consistently minimized the situation, told me I was "overreacting to a situation that is out of his control", interrupted me when talking, and disrespecting his team members when communicating about our situation. When my wife left one of these frustration interactions, she posted her thoughts on a google review. When returning to the dealership for THE SIXTH time with electrical issues last night, we were met with the same service manager who REFUSED us service on the basis of posting our negative review. Not only was service refused but this was following the dealerships request for us to drive it up there so this manager can have his moment of power of kicking us out of his establishment. Our comments previously posted were noting his disrespect, minimization of our feelings during a frustrating situation in which he labeled the post "threatening" and therefore refused to provide the service we have paid for with purchasing a branch new vehicle and warranty. It sure seems like a convenient solution to get "rid of their problem" of servicing this vehicle that they initially promised "TO MAKE RIGHT". Do yourself a favor and purchase and have your vehicles serviced elsewhere, they do not stand behind their motto of customer service.

Worst Service Department EVER
Worst service dept ever. Took my 2020 Powerwagon in 7/2021 for the advertised $75 oil change. After arriving at my appt. it turns out the the $75 was only if I spent a total of $150 on 2 oil change - 2nd to be used within one year. I already made the appointment and was there to I felt stuck to spend another $75. So fast forward to 7/2022. My truck had an insurance claim and was in another dealer for an estimate. After I got my truck back, I called Tate and explained that I was 10 days outside of this "year" for my second oil change because my truck was in the shop. Tate's response was that "we do not do charity work" but that they would do me a favor and sell me an oil change for "half price" of $75. So Tate had my money for a year, never provided any notice that the "year" was up and then refused service of an oil change - due to no fault of my own. I called up RAM customer service and explained the situation. They gave me 2 free oil changes. This is how customer service is done - Tate obviously does not know about customer service. I have purchased vehicles in the past from Tate and had them service my vehicles. NEVER AGAIN - I do not need their "charity work".

All the bad stereotypes about car dealers come true
I've purchased Jeeps from Tate before without issue. Went in to buy a 2020 and negotiated a price with our salesman who was very nice and accommodating. He went back to get approval from the sales manager and came out with a revised figure. I was still fine with the revised figure but after I indicated that I would not be financing, the sales manager intervened and jacked the price up $7,000 taking it past MSRP. Our salesman genuinely looked confused and was apologetic that things had gone south. Save your time and your money. I drove to Len Stoler in Westminster, was treated great by everyone, and was given an out the door price with none of the nonsense from Tate. Restored my faith.

Do Not purchase a Used Vehicle from this dealership
I purchased a used Jeep Renegade on 11/17/2018. Had the car less than a week and check engine light went on, called service and they said to drive until convenient for me to bring in for service. Took in the shop on 12/15/2018 for check engine light and hard shifting in transmission. While in the shop vehicle was wrecked by employee. Asked about $2,6544.00damage being reported to CarFax was told would not be reported because damage was done in the shop. Didn't get car back until 1/2/2019 from service. Got back still same shifting problem, took back in the shop on 1/8/2019, got it back on 1/9/2019 still having shifting problem. Had to take Wayne on drive so he could see the problem. Said yes it has a problem but not throwing a code so have to go through a process to get the vehicle repaired. Ran CarFax report and damage is reported and the price of the vehicle is now $2,000 less than what I paid for it. Had a towing charge of $200, have had to take off 1.5 days from work dealing with these issues. Have spoke with Patrick Sales Manager, Keith, Wayne and Tyler in Service. Called and email General Manager with no response. I have purchased over 5 vehicles from them in the past don't understand why this experience has been so bad.
