I’ve had way better experiences elsewhere
Not a terrible place to get work done if you aren’t in a rush, their tech is there or don’t mind paying more than what you get quoted. They don’t offer a military discount but I can get over that. They do charge a 4% fee for paying with a credit card but don’t have change when you pay with cash. One of their techs was out for a couple days for surgery, and while I can sympathize with that I have a hard time paying an extra $200 on what was originally quoted because the part initially offered “wasn’t available because it took so long” to actually start working on my truck. Also, I would expect a call with a status update if they can’t get to your vehicle or some other issue. Considering I called on Friday afternoon after dropping my truck off Thursday morning only to hear that the tech might be in. Called Monday afternoon just to get the same response. I don’t see myself coming back unless it’s for warranty work and definitely wouldn’t recommend them to a friend.

I have never had a more friendly or helpful place to help with service on my vehicle. Practical knowledge and experience. They are always going above and beyond to make sure the work is exceptional!
After going to another garage & being told the noise we heard when applying the brakes was nothing to worry about, we went to Tankersley only to have a diagnosis done immediately. One look showed leaking wheel seals & metal to metal brakes on the back left. A dangerous situation averted, work done in 1 day, fairly priced, and friendly, outgoing crew. I am happy!

Best shop in town
This shop is 100% honest and does the best work I’ve ever seen. I can’t thank Tankersley’s enough!!
I towed my vehicle to Tankersley’s Monday morning due to a break line failure. Knowing I didn’t have a set appointment, I was not expecting them to get to my vehicle within the week. Needless to say it’s Tuesday afternoon and not only is my vehicle completed but I was kept informed throughout the process. I’m always happy with their work and will be going no where else for my mechanical needs.
The mechanic explained state inspections in this area (I recently moved here). The work I needed done was finished between 9:30am and 1:30pm on a Monday (I had called ahead for an appointment) and the price was reasonable for the estimate I was given.

The Go To place in Granbury if your looking for honesty, reasonable prices and expert car repairs.
If you're looking for excellent repair service, honesty, and no gouge prices then Tankersly is the place to take your car. My experience is they will try and repair parts instead of taking the expensive route of putting in a new part. I highly recommend them.
John said he has only driven it for a day, since they worked on it took a little bit longer than he hoped. He called on a Thursday, they told him to bring it in on Friday and they would have it done on Monday. He was hoping to have it for the weekend. He has no complaints with the service so far and he is grateful they stayed with their estimate. He added on charging the air conditioning and they didn't do that.
