Incredibly forthcoming, knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely considerate of our situation. Treated us more like a family friend than a customer they were trying to upsell.
We recently bought a used car and got a pre-purchase inspection done, then called around to probably a dozen of the highest-rated mechanic shops in the area to compare prices and get a feel for who sounded professional and honest. Takeda really stood out from the beginning.

Everyone there was incredibly forthcoming, knowledgeable, and kind. Not only did they have some of the most competitive prices we found, but I was really impressed by how straightforward and honest they were about what actually needed to be done. Instead of pushing unnecessary repairs, they were upfront about what could wait, what could be repaired rather than replaced, and what was worth prioritizing now versus later. Instead of leaving with a bunch of added costs, they actually suggested postponing some work and avoiding some potentially unnecessary or harmful repairs, and we actually ended up paying less than we expected from the original estimate.

The person who bought the car was really stressed about costs and worried about being taken advantage of, which unfortunately can happen at some shops. Takeda completely put our minds at ease. They explained everything clearly, never pressured us, and made us feel confident that they genuinely cared more about helping than upselling.

Even the staff at the front desk were impressively knowledgeable. I was actually surprised to find out one of them wasn’t a mechanic, given how knowledgeable she was. You can tell the whole place is experienced and well-run.

Overall, just a very honest, professional, and trustworthy shop with fair pricing and no hidden surprises. Exactly the kind of mechanic people hope to find. Really couldn’t ask for more. They definitely earned our confidence and future business.
