Wonderful! Trustworthy, skilled, efficient, careful use of time.
I am so pleased with TAG automotive. I put out a call on fb for the best mechanic in flagstaff. The replies were conclusive TAG. I stopped by to “interview” and get a feel for the work. It felt right. I felt like they know their business and want to put their skills to work. They very carefully consulted with each other on the diagnosis. Then presented me with the cost that would be incurred. Before any work began. I agreed. Work was completed efficiently, respectfully and correctly. I wanted to establish a rapport with a mechanic for the future. I have.

Water pump replacement
Needed a water pump replacement and ended up with that as well as a new radiator, timing belt and thermostat, so should be set for a while! Always great service and quick turnaround!

After describing my problem with my instrument cluster I was told it needed reprogramming $250 ended up at $500
Problem diagnosis reprogramming instrument cluster. Quoted $250 charged $500. 5 miles away problem returned. the cluster was not the problem. A neighbor told me to check my alternator. The problem!!! I changed my alternator probblem solved. Your shop an incorrect Diagnosis cost me $500.

The best mechanic shop!
We were passing through flagstaff on a cross country roadtrip when my vehicle started throwing a code for turbo under boost. These guys got us in and out in one day with a quick fix! They were so friendly and beyond helpful. Thank you guys!!

Honest and Transparent
The staff have been fair, honest, and transparent about pricing and necessary repairs. I brought my truck in for the first time this year after repeated issues with other local mechanics.
