WARNING!!! Steer WAY clear. My experience with the owner of this business has shown me he is unprofessional, dishonest, and untrustworthy as the day is long. I have been scammed big time even though he came highly recommended. I paid him $9,700 upfront over eight months ago for an engine and transmission that he supposedly ordered from a very reputable "national supplier".
I was told by David Payne, owner of Syndicate of Speed and Fab that it would take 4-6 weeks on delivery. Each time I had to contact him for an update (because I was put off, week after week, month after month, with the same old repetitive excuses that the "supplier" was holding up the job and my money. Finally, after 4 months, I personally contacted the “supplier” who confirmed that, in fact, NO purchase order for my parts had ever been placed by this dishonest, business owner.
To this day, I still don't have an answer as to what the owner of Syndicate of Speed and Fab spent my money on, but I can say for certain that it wasn’t anything for my vehicle! And now this guy wants me to feel sorry for him and his use of fraudulent actions and deceitful behavior. I am now forced to seek legal recourse in recuperating my $9,700 (plus extenuating fees above and beyond).
If I could give negative stars, I would. He isn't even worthy of one. My personal rating would be F-. I’ve worked with customers for 50+ years and I will never recommend this shop. CONSUMER BEWARE!
