Terrible service
I dropped my car off at 8:00 am for the first service. The car has no issues- it only needed a first service. New car with 5,000 miles. It is now 4:00 pm and I'm still waiting for my car. In the waiting room, the lights have been flickering on and off. Terrible experience ?

Amazing service
My husband and I entered bayside Hyundai shop just to look for a car Justin dealer immediately got up from his chair and offer his service. We had very nice experience with bayside Hyundai , the process was smooth and friendly , Justin were very Igor to teach my husband the features of the car. We are really impressed with service. Terrible service appointments.
It takes more than a min to to get an appointment for a routine service checkin (part of warrant on new car). Then they make you wait more than 45 min just to see a service rep. I expect to be able to make an appointment in a reasonable time; drop my car off and speak with a service rep quickly, and then leave so they can take care of the car and I can take care of things on my plate. I don’t want to sit around waiting. And this is the third or fourth appointment in a row (all routine appointments on a new car) where this has happened. I would not buy a car from them again.

Wonderful people, efficient, helpful, understanding, thorough, detail oriented, professional, friendly, a nice relaxed atmosphere, easy going, easy to deal with and accomadating
I purchased a new SEL Venue in April 2023. My salesman Tommy Tong was terrific. He gave good advice, showed and explained every detail about the car, was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge related to any and all cars - car history, car engines, car buying, car selling, car track records, etc. He had a wealth of knowledge he was always sharing. He was friendly, relaxed and helpful. He had a great sense of humor which made my task of choosing to buy a vehicle at Hyundai pleasant and enjoyable. He was also thorough and didn't miss a beat. He moved things along by being very detail orientated and where I missed a step with paperwork such as needing proof for something he could promptly fill in for me. He was always one step ahead in the process of car buying and so made it easy- peasy. He was there every step of the way which I appreciated since buying such a big expensive item can be daunting. There is a great staff over there in addition to Tommy. Their financial wizard, Charlie, went over the expense and numbers with me very thoroughly and chose a course of action to save me money. He also gave good advice to save money in the future. Even salesmen that I was not dealing with were friendly and courteous. There is an outstanding team there which makes this a comfortable place to buy a car. It was not intimidating in the least. This was a pleasant experience in a pleasant atmosphere and so I highly recommend Bayside Hyundai, not to mention, that these cars are truly good, solid vehicles in every way. The salesmen know their cars and believe in them. This gives a buyer confidence in their purchase.

Well
Star Hyundai Service just proved they are incompetent. I thought I found a good place to bring my Tucson for service after a few over price but good oil changes. I was wrong, the place is dumpy, parking is bad, the service writer don't listen. Today the service writer told me that an overpriced brake service would fix a grinding front left hub. It did not, and then he tried to sell me tires.
Star just lost another customer.

Two Months Later.....
Not only have they had my vehicle since March 14th, 2022, but Jessica Santana (service advisor) attempted to return it to me unrepaired!!! On top of all of that they damaged my vehicle while in their possession!! It is now over two months later and still no vehicle. The representative from Cooperate couldn't even reach Jessica Sanatana. Ridiculous and beyond unprofessional...I think I'm being treated like this because my car is paid off in full and still under warranty. Worst place ever to bring a car for service.

This location did not have the best customer service. Long hold times on the phone; lack of communication of vehicle status; I have had to return my vehicle twice for the same issue.

We bought a minivan from Danny Chen at another previous dealership and so did our neighbors.
World Class 26 yrs veteran salesman has did it again. We thought we couldn't find him after 15 yrs of purchasing and financing SUVs. We financed a Chyrsler Town and Country from Danny at Major Jeep 15 yrs ago and Danny catered us to the stars. His knowledge of vehicles and edgy friendly personality made my family instantly fell in love. My kids loved him. When we arrive home , our neighbors down the block saw my T&C on my driveway and asked about this van's features, amenities and pricing. We stated it was purchased from Major Jeep, look for Goofball Danny Chen. It turns out they just bought a Jeep G Cheerokee SRT- 8 from him last mos. They liked him a lot as much.
Once again our neighbors on the block can turn their heads while walking pass our home and stare at our beautiful new truck and of course gossip about it. We will refer Danny to the world. Danny knows the car selling business. its his experience and personality that sells. His pricings are higher compare to others. However, his work ethics, time management , integrity and attitude keeps us happy.

These guys follow up!
Chuck followed up and wanted to make sure I was satisfied to the fullest. You don't get them from many places anymore. This is my 1st car from Star Hyundai and from the start with the sales person i was already impress and this just adds to the reason why I am sticking with them.

Very satisfied!!
I really thought it was going to be like the others Services shop (Nemeth and the one in LIC). I had my appointment @ 1:40pm and left the place close to 5pm but happy. All the workers with a smile on their faces and not rushing to close the shop. Ms. Santana explained every detail what the problem with my Tucson was and even though she was tired, never stop smiling and answer all my questions. My first time at this Hyundai services shop and I'm glad I went. VERY PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE ALL!! Thank you
