I wouldn't even take my bicycle here
I wish you could do negative stars.
I took my one car here and the only issue I had was the fact that they never called me to tell me my car was ready and it sat there an extra 2 days...thE owner said that's not how he does business so I figured that was just a fluke mistake thing...mistakes happen.
I didn't think much about taking my other car there and they had it over a month! Has an overheating issue they fixed something supposedly and said it would be 400.00.
Every time I called they said it wasn't ready...well by the time I could pick it up (their choice not mine) they had tacked on another 200.00 the owner claimed that was always the price and I told him i was quoted a different amount. He basically said i was lying and that it was never 400. I know it was..I even wrote it down...well I went to pick up my car and he tried to explain which I told him I didn't want to hear his explanation all I want is my car out of that place. He charged me the 600. I got my car and it's still overheating...which is why I took it there to begin with...he went out and started it and say it starts real good! OK? And? It never had an issue starting so why is that some miracle?
Oh and I was going to report him to the better business bureau but guess what? That shop isn't even part of the BBB.
I wouldn't even take a bicycle there...so unprofessional...lying people who work here. The place should be shut down...permanently
If you need service please save yourself the waste of time and money and even go to show low or taylor.
I hope no one else has to go through this crap.
And the owner should be ashamed of himself and how he runs his business...and how he treats customers....word of mouth spreads fast...and negative experiences spreads faster than positive experiences.

Typical Garage Rip-Off
Went for some scheduled work and ended up paying double for the labor I was quoted and half the job was completed. When it was addressed with the owner of the garage, his immediate reaction was to get defensive which told me I was right and he was wrong. I ended up having to take my car to the dealership to get it done correctly costing me twice what it would have cost me to do right the first time. The dealership ship told me I was luck that I brought it in because the work completed was incomplete and incorrect parts were used.

Leaking Oil Change & No Response from Ownership
I have tried to address this situation with the business directly, but my calls to ownership have gone unreturned and this matter is still unaddressed. Because of the possible impact of the situation, not speaking up does not feel right. I hope this is a fluke occurrence, but the lack of care or concern to the situation calls for warning to be given.

Please reference previous positive experience with this business. As a solo female traveler, finding a dependable service provider for the care of my vehicle is of great importance. It is a matter of safety.

Because of the past experience (and referral) with this business, I opted to have them care for my oil change as I passed through again. It was a basic oil change, which should be no issues. I dropped off the vehicle and picked it up with no issues. Given I was just passing through, I left town the following day.

After driving through New Mexico for the next week following my oil change, I stopped to visit a friend in Albuquerque and leaked oil all over their driveway. This was an unplanned stopover from my travels in the natural terrain. Had I not made this stop, I would not have caught the leak.

By the time it was caught, the newly changed oil was EMPTY. I immediately called Springerville Automotive Service and was told to take it in & let them know what is found. All was conveyed to / from the owner via the person answering the phone. He could not come to the phone to speak with me at that time.

The following morning, I put in 2 quarts of oil to refill the tank and took my vehicle to the nearest station. They pulled the oil filter to assess why my entire undercarriage was covered and dripping in oil. Upon inspection, they found the oil filter was replaced with no gasket. I had been driving across two states, by myself, with oil seeping out the entire time. Had I not caught it when I did, I was one trip away from a blown engine in the middle of nowhere. By myself.

Given the timing of my travels, lack of cell service and the holiday weekend, I waited to call until I was in a better headspace and physical space to speak with the owner. I wanted them to know not only the mistake, but recognize the implications of such an oversight. I was unable to reach him again, but left a message with the service member to convey the mistake and my desire to speak with management. This sort of thing shouldn't happen, and when it does - it needs to be taken seriously. My request to send photos was declined, and I was told he would text the owner to get back to me. I left name, vehicle and contact once again and reiterated I wanted a return call the following week when he returns. (It was a Friday afternoon.)

It now has been two weeks, and I have yet to hear back. And truth be told, I shouldn't have to track down any business to remedy such a glaring mistake on their end. Two calls on my end is enough. The responsibility now falls on them.

Whether I am inside or outside the community, customer care should reach anyone who steps in those doors. Mistakes happen. How we respond to them speaks volumes.
