I went to this shop for Code 420 Catalytic Converters. They turned the light off during check and asked me to come back. They claimed it was bad gas causing it and turned the notification off. 3 weeks later light was back on. I went back into shop and they stated were busy and offered the next day service for $799.00. I returned to the shop the next day. I left car for almost full 8 hours. Car ran fine for 3 weeks then light code 420 Catalytic Converter warning came back on. I returned to shop. They again blamed bad gas and told me they did not have time. I had vehicle checked elsewhere and was told the 420 Bank 1 Catalytic Converter was not even unscrewed/ opened, touched or replaced.(I also have pictures and videos) I contacted the shop and they told me it had. I again had car inspected. The shop called me late in afternoon same day and then stated it had not. They stated they had it cleaned through the tubing and it was a process. They were closing for the holidays for 2 weeks. So in other words, work was not done and I was stuck out with problem vehicle while they were closing and going on vacation for holiday. While they were closed for holiday, I took the vehicle to 2 other places for inspection. Truth - they NEVER even unscrewed, cleaned or replaced the 420 Bank 1 Catalytic Converter as they stated in the beginning and for which I paid for. They also lied about the cleaning without removing the converter as 3 professional shops have now confirmed that is not even possible. My car issue is now going on almost a month of this runaround and faulty service. They have also re opened their shop today and not even contacted me to right the issue as they stated before the holidays. My thoughts - they lied and mislead their customers and apparently do not even want to right their wrongs. I am pursing legal matters if the issue is not resolved immediately.
