SPT or Specialty Performance Team focuses on Dodge Viper, Hemi and McLaren cars with a bigger focus on Track Prep and product development. The shop has an intimate setting with a client friendly lounge and an interactive waiting room. Our new location is in Alhambra at 919 South Fremont. It is near the 710, 10, 60 and 210 freeways. Is Fantabulous a Word?
Dan is a perfectionist. He's been working on my cars for over 10 years now and I've always been happy with everything he's done. He's not just a viper guy either, he's worked on my corvette and always does a fantastic work. His advice is golden and I've always been happy when I've followed it. He's not cheap, but his work quality is top shelf.

Dan did an amazing job on my Viper. He is polite, honest, and beyond knowledgeable. He exceeded all hopes/expectations. He also knew the history of my exact car and was glad to share his vast amount of knowledge.

Thorough Expertise
You can count on Dan Cragin , and his Specialty Performance Team to sort out the most difficult and hard to diagnose ( for the average mechanic) problems. He and his team won't waste your money with "exploratory" mechanics because of the depth of knowledge they all have. They are real experts in their field and can tackle anything. They engineer drivability into your vehicle. You'll love you car, and them !!!

Specialty Performance is who you need if your car is a high performance hot rod, resto-mod, or you just want a good team that doesn't give up on your vehicle until your problems, or performance up - grades are resolved !!! These guy's don't play favorites they just get the job done!!!

Great service and excellent knowledgeable staff for anything Viper!
I started my journey with my 2006 Ram SRT-10 QC Night Runner in 2013. I purchased it used.. and the small dealership warned me not to hit the gas too hard as there was an "issue" at WOT. The issue was a rev limiter, which was quickly fixed with a SCT tuner.

Shortly after the tune, I started to eat valve springs.. but was able to repair. Then it ate a spring and valve.. and the heads had to be rebuilt.

After a few months of the heads being rebuilt, they were reinstalled and a month later, the engine blew a piston.. and that's when I met Dan Cragin of SPT.

Dan came highly recommended as the top Viper tech in California, we discussed my issue, and arranged to have my motor removed where I live and shipped to him.

Engine shipped, truck shipped later, and wow what a difference to have my truck in better then designed capacity.

Dan and his team were very accommodating to my situation and built a great truck.

Excellent Product Knowledge - Excellent Service
Dan and his team have the experience and product knowledge that the dealers seem to lack - I am very fussy - I want my vehicles serviced correctly with the correct parts and procedures to keep them in the same condition as the day they were built. That is exactly what I have received at SPT. And should I want to enhance the performance of my Viper I know this is the right place to have that done also. If you really like your Viper and want it cared for honestly and professionally SPT is a good place to go. Jeff
