Great service Great people
They fit my service request in as I was in town for a short visit and provided excellent care for my vehicle and me. If I was local they would be my go to shop for all my vehicles.

Quick response and timely service
My wife’s BMW had a dead battery and since they were 10+ years old (original batteries) I replaced them. “Them” because her X5 needs a primary and auxiliary battery. (Yippy, 2 * the price.) In changing them I learned the car needs to have the new batteries “registered” in the cars’ battery management system (BMS). Of course this requires a tool I wasn’t willing to invest in. I left a message via Spark’s website and lo-and-behold they got back to me the next morning and I was able to get the batteries registered promptly. (The shop in Portland we’ve used for years never even called us back.)

Very likely the next time we need service we’ll take our car to Sparks. Thanks fellas!

My car repairs.
I was treated with courtesy,even though I have no understanding of car mechanics.They seem trustworthy,and were up front about the cost and need of repairs.The work was done in a timely fashion,without delays.Gary was very nice,explained about the repairs on my car.I felt at ease,as though I was talking with an old friend.I will definately recommend them,and will take my car back if repairs are needed.But, I hope my car stays healthy! 😆

Great repair facility
I moved to Oregon two years ago and sparks was the first place that I went to get an oil change. During the two years that I’ve been here I’ve had a couple repairs and sparks is just the best place. They take good care of your car. The people are professional, cordial, and friendly. They don’t sell you anything you don’t need and they do great work.

Ah, cmon, how many times do I have to say, "the Only Place I'd Take My Car?"
and have for years! What more can I say about the EXCELLENT service they provide? Everyone has said it in their reviews. I must admit, my car still gets nervous as it becomes aware we're going there, but Gary gives it a few good bones and my car just rolls over and if you listen closely, deep in the engine you can hear it repeating, "more please". For those who remember, as Tony The Tigers says," They're GRREEAATT !!

I forgot to give them my 15% off coupon (for new brakes), but will call them on Monday and get that taken care of.

Helpful, but communication was lacking
Whenever I did speak to representatives from Sparks, they were very helpful and nice, though if I didn’t call, I would not receive any updates.

Initially, they scheduled me for an appointment on a Wednesday, when I called on Thursday to get an update on the tests they were to perform, I was told they weren’t able to get to it. Delay.

Then, once testing was done and we knew what needed to be fixed, they quoted it would be done early the following week. When I called again Tuesday of the following week, I was told it would be done Thursday. Delay.

When I called on Friday of that week, I was told it was going to be pushed out again.

While I don’t have an issue with shifts in timelines, I do have an issue with the lack of proactive updates to a customer paying thousands of dollars. This should be standard process so it is not solely the responsibility of the customer to reach out to understand when they may get their car back.

If I had to do it again, I probably would not go back.

Excellent Service
Sparks Auto Service provided excellent auto service. They were very helpful in getting my car's needs met!

The only thing I would suggest is to focus on following through with providing updates when you say you will. Both times I wanted updates, I was the one calling within an hour to close trying to get the update myself. Other than that, they provided flawless service.
