SIMPLY A GREAT EXPERIENCE
I purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Impala limited LS from Sound Auto Wholesalers back in May of 2024, it's been about a year and I have not had a single issue with this vehicle, it's been an absolutely amazing car. This vehicle was purchased from an auction and it was a former federal law enforcement vehicle and it was well maintained, I even inspected the Carfax history, oil changes were done regularly and maintenance required was done. This car has been simply amazing not a single problem and it's a beautiful car that was well maintained and I love it. Sound Auto also stuck with their policy regarding repair of the vehicle before sale, they put on four brand new tires, did an oil change, a complete vehicle safety checkup and put on all new brakes and rotors. I dealt with Joe my salesman who was fantastic. I purchased this vehicle online sight unseen because I'm a former Impala owner already and know and trust the vehicle. I was very sick at the time and the dealership held the vehicle with no deposit for over a month until I was able to get down there and finalize my deal. When I got down there, there was my vehicle sitting out there in front, shining and glowing for the world to see, like a star in the sky, it was beautiful. I can't thank Joe and the dealership enough for this sale and the price was also fantastic, only $10,000 for a car with 98,000 miles that's going to probably run another 10 years or more. I had a 2010 Impala that made it to 262,000 miles before if I got rear ended and it was totaled. I trust the Chevy Impala brand. The transaction and final sales paperwork when smoothly. The vehicle had plates on it and was ready to roll once the paperwork was done and I left there smiling. And now, a year later, I continue to smile. I give sound Auto Wholesalesrs five stars and if I can give them more I would. I'm a tough cookie to please but I got to tell you this experience was five stars all the way, despite all the negative reviews I see here on Yelp, in my opinion. Do not hesitate to buy a car from these folks at Sound Auto Wholesalers, they were honest with me trustworthy, and treating me with respect and kindness and I can't thank them enough. Ask for Joe when you go there....This is an honest, real and unsolicitated review of Sound Auto and ive not been paid or compensated in any way!

Bad experience
I purchased 2 car from sound view. Just left the dealer they were very uncompromising. Will never go back.

They conveniently FORGOT to tell me the car I bought came from an auction, and aslo FORGOT to tell me that I paid for their anti theft they installed on the car of $300 and already sold my car Not to them wouldn't budg on a fair trade in.......BUYER BEWARE!

Awesome Dealership
Kelsey Yantosca sold us a truck. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Answered all of our questions and our transaction was stress free thanks to Kelsey. He did not pressure us in any way. We are so pleased we plan on going back soon, we are interested in purchasing another vehicle. They have a huge selection. To Mr. Merriam or General Manager of Sound Auto: I feel you should be aware of my experience with your business and in particular with Mr. George Bennet? Basically, he is an exceptionally poor representative to the public of your business. He is typical of all the worst traits that give car salesmen a bad reputation. He shows no integrity nor honesty and is self-serving only to himself and not your business or the customers. It got to the point where I am pretty uninterested in buying a car from a company that employs such unreliable people; it makes the rest of the business suspect as well. So, you're wondering why my negative comments. I had been emailing with George for about a week with interest in a Prius I found that you had listed on CarGurus. We had gotten to the point Tuesday evening when I agreed to buy it with all the major issues of price, delivery etc confirmed on the phone. He took my credit card for a $2,500 deposit and a picture of my drivers license to process and hold the car for the completion of the paperwork. I wrote several times that evening and the next morning when I had not received the promised paperwork. I then got an email early afternoon, that someone was coming to look at the car and probably buy it then and there. I responded shocked and critically; with finally no response from him on where the process and status of car was at that point.
There are many cars and dealers out there! But, I am writing because I feel its important for owner/management to be aware of the reputation of businesses. (I do have relatives in Guilford.)
I also wanted you to know ahead of time that I feel obligated to submit a review to CarGurus as well.
Thank you for your attention and would appreciate a response and minimally an acknowledgment that this message was received.

SOUND AUTO WILLFULLY MIS-REPRESENTED VEHICLE
BEWARE OF THIS DEALER.. Specifically, on Feb 16, 2021, I closed on a 2018 Volvo S90 ,black with blond interior to be finalized the next day . Only after some research later that day did I find that they advertised the car with over $7000(yes, SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS) in options the car did not have. This dealer has blatantly, and is currently continuing to willfully mis-represent this car even after being caught red-handed AVOID THIS UNSCRUPULOUS DEALER AT ALL COSTS . email me pnz1113@yahoo.com..... I have all relevant documentation . Who knows how many other cars are being misrepresented .

The dealer has 24 hours to revise the ad or the CT Dept of Consumer Protection is notified
