Very poor customer service
We have had good experiences with Sohars in the past with gas powered equipment, so we decided to take our electric mower (Rybobi)to them as well. It took 27 days and three phone calls on our part to have them look at the mower and diagnose the problem
Although we confirmed directly with the manufacturer that the work would be covered under warranty, Sohars was unwilling or unable to do the work under warranty and advised us it would cost $400 (with an additional $200 deposit) and take 3 to 5 weeks to repair
We took the mower to M&D limited on Broadway in Oakwood Village. They can repair it in one week, under warranty
I would not recommend Sohars for electrical equipment repairs

Excellent
Brought in my mower for a tune up and self propelled transmission repair. After evaluation, I determined it was more cost effective to buy a new mower than to repair the old. Somehow we miscommunicated. When I went to pick up the mower we found that it had been completely repaired and refurbished. Without hesitation, Sohars apologized for THEIR error and even though I offered to pay for the repairs, they adamantly refused any compensation for their work. Now that’s how you make things right! Few businesses take that kind of responsibility for their work anymore. I will not take my business anywhere else from now on!
