Spoke to the owner today and went over the list of things that happened over the past few months. Understandably he couldn't prove some of the things I was upset over. However the inspection that was paid for on the vehicle that ended up totaled and never had the stickers put on ,that were paid for in advance should've been made good on.
My son took a big loss from trusting them over at Schummers and to say sorry and not offer any way of rectifying the situation was extremely disappointing.
I have been using Schummer's for the past 9 year and when Rusty was there I felt like I got great customer service and was also given a break every so often when things got costly or wasn't charged for something nebulous. Now that there are others managing the shop I don't get that personal attention, and I would have thought with a bill over $1500 I would have been given some type of discount... if I was, they didn't tell me they were giving me a discount because the bill was actually more than I was quoted over the phone. Although I will likely continue to use their shop, I wish Rusty could come in and give the new guys some tips on how to build relationships with the regulars and keep them happy.
Mary said she liked the business because it wasn't bad, it wasn't great, but it was good. She said she would not recommend this business for service though because it was too expensive and they charged too much for the service done.
Emily said she has been taking her vehicle to this business for a while now and they are both very informative and friendly. She does not know that much about this sort of thing so they tell her everything they are doing and explain it all really well.
Robert said the business did what they had to do, and they were courteous about it. He stated he will bring them more of his vehicles. The employees are great people.
