I made an appointment with SSI a few weeks out to get headers installed on my GT4. I explained to them that I would need to wait for the work to be done since I'm almost an hour away. They agreed and said that it'd be no more than a 4hr job. Fast forward to the day before the appointment and they called me to confirm all the details. We agreed that if I showed up at 7am and let the car sit until they open at 8am the headers would be cooled down enough to start working first thing. 9am comes and they haven't even brought the car inside. It hits 9:30 and they say "they're almost ready. just taking a car off the lift". 10am comes and they haven't even glanced at my car or taken my keys. I finally lost my patience and asked for another update to which they replied "sorry, we thought we could do it right away but this other car is taking longer than we thought". I'm now 4hrs into this endeavor plus another hour back home so I decide to leave and take my business elsewhere.
This shop is exactly what gives the automotive industry a bad name. Communicate to your customers and set realistic expectations. If you can't hold up your end of the bargain, own it. Ya'll wasted 5hrs of my day and lost a potential long-term client.

SSI repaired my Turbo that was giving me issues giving me issues for time. The work they did was great, perfect. Their customer service was professional and educational. They are only car doctors that ill allow to touch my baby... If i could give 10 stars i would.
They really seem to provide the most comprehensive, detailed diagnosis/ explanation for what's needed. Reasonable, fair and trustworthy.
I've been to a few German car specialists. I am definitely coming to SSI before the others. Not overpriced and very detailed in their explanation of needed labor and parts.

Chris said the service was done in a timely manner. Sloan came to his house after the repairs were done to make a minor adjustment on his vehicle. The work done was really good. The staff were great to work with.
The team at SSI are very knowledgeable and are willing to share their knowledge with its customer so you understand why and what has been done to your car. I trust the team at SSI to do an excellent job on correcting issues with my car.

This shop was very friendly and gave very good, neutral advice on what needed to be done for a car to pass inspection and what they personally recommended if the car was theirs. They did not push anything or pressure anything at all, they acted like a consultant and a friend. In my brief interaction with these guys they seemed very impressive, friendly, and reliable. They even agreed to, and partook in, a conference call with the dealer where the car was purchased to explain what needed to be done to make the car pass inspection.
Sloan and his team are excellent with Porsches and we know they will take care of our car. They teach us what's wrong, show pics to help us understand because we're a decent drive away, and provide solution options to help us prioritize needs vs. wants. They have earned our trust, which is unusual in this industry.
Very knowledgeable and professional people to do business with. I feel honesty, integrity and fair pricing, at a substantial discount to dealer pricing, are the core business model of SSI. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who truly wants the best service for their Euro/imports.
