Do not use this shop, they are dishonest. They took my car to another shop without my oral or written permission. I contracted with S&S Auto ONLY. I had NO CONTRACT with any other shop and the contracted shop receipt showed S&S as the customer, not me. S&S assured me they would have no problem getting a qualified tech to work on the car, although he was employed by the second shop, at no time did they EVER tell me the were transferring my car to another shop. I picked up my car from the shop who I contracted with, (S&S) and there was oil smoke coming from the engine. Conveniently creating a scapegoat to avoid responsibility and thru maneuvering got the case heard by a justice who either did not comprehend automotive or sympathetic to S&S, their defense consisted of a single sentence after I produced build receipts for the engine and the receipt showing S&S as the customer. My follow-up to a higher Judge stated that my loss was due more to not being able to prove the condition of the car when I brought it in, maybe I should have taken it to a certified repair facility who would find the problems instead of compounding them. Again, no one from S&S auto let me know this engine had a problem, deniability. My mistake was trusting this shop to take care of my car and be responsible for what happens after it was left in THEIR care! My loss far exceed the pennies they were offering for my damages. Although they damaged the front end by stripping screws that were fine when I took it in and they were ready to release the car back to me I found that there was a critical malfunction when the service manager took it to the second shop, could have been a fatal accident had they went forward and released to car back to me. Both front tires were splayed out at the bottom when I saw the vehicle at the second shop, I could not collect my property if I wanted to. They were calling the front end alignment "complete" at this time. My car was held hostage and I was forced to deal with the shop I did not contract with, afterward it had to go back to S&S to be repaired, of course! Dealing with this shop was an absolute nightmare on all levels.
