Courteous staff, good work, some jobs are bit overpriced
This is my 1st experience with Rudy Schmid Total Car Care. Easy to schedule appointments. $150 for Rust Check (car), synthetic blend oil change (I estimate $60 tops) and most places that perform oil changes (Midas, Monro, AMMCO, Firestone, Cole) will perform tire rotation for free. Total cost $243. I believe it should of cost me $225 including tax. However, they did provide transportation to and from home until work was complete so I did not have to sit around for 3 to 4 hours. Observing their Maintenance Board for cost some things were a bit high. Note: never have your vehicle stored there unless you are super wealthy. Overall it was a pleasant experience and will have future work done there so I can evaluate their service even further. I gave 4 Stars cause the Rust Check had overspray and some pools that should of been cleaned up. Otherwise 5 Stars in my book and there was a plus since they even steam cleaned engine block / under the hood. Reminds me of detailing. Schmid's will notify you prior to performing any work that they find regarding the safety and maintenance of your vehicle. A business that cares and does the job properly deserves to be recommended.
