Before the oil change I told them my heater hose assembly and water pump was just replaced. Hose blew causing coolant to spew all over the engine compartment. Knowing this they told me directly it was the rear main seal.
My normal mechanic here in Moore was 3-4 days out from diagnosing. I was connected to Ron’s via a friend. Ron’s got me in same day. It didn’t take long to find the coolant that had been spewed pooled anywhere would it sit. It also saturated the firewall.
Although they were convinced it wasn’t the seal, they still spent a few hours running the vehicle, driving, and checking it to verify!
Thats been a little over a week and all is well. No leak.
