Another great experience -
many many problems with my 2011 bently Convertible, They went thru whole car and it’s running fantastic - PLUS was 1/2 of what Dealer service cost for this -

Pricey
If you like restaurants that don't put prices on the menu you'll love this place. They don't give an itemized invoice for your records, it's pretty much just we worked on your motor and here's the cost. They also tack on a percentage of the bill for mundane shop supplies whether they used them or not. I'm sure they mostly do very reliable work but they talked me into an expensive job it turns out I didn't need, and didn't secure a part properly.

The best and most hassle free experience ever.
I am usually dreading any visit to an auto repair shop, even for something simple like what I had done - change the oil, air filters, and cabin filters. It turned out to be a real pleasure. Everyone was very punctual, extremely nice to speak with and made no attempts sell something you didn't need. Integrity and honesty are the 2 best words I could use to describe Renn Haus. I will definately be back should I need any service work done in the future.

Simply the BEST!
I went to Renn Haus after being fed up with the dealership Sarasota. From my first contact with them on the phone (yes they actually answer the phone unlike the service department at my BMW dealership).

The staff are very customer focussed. They want customers for life and work to give you what you need not what you don't need. Of 6 items the BMW dealership said needed urgent action - Renn Haus found 2 and told me the others are not urgent and can wait as the mileage and inspections did not warrant it now.

Frankly, I think Renn Haus under promises and over delivers! Jack, Robert and team in the front end and Clancy in the shop were all approachable made it clear they want customers for life! They took great care of my BMW and made the time spent there well worthwhile.

I can't emphasize enough that their service, attention and honesty blows away any experience I have had at the local dealership.

There was little difference in the pricing and I'm good with that because they talk with you not at you and don't try to sell you on unneeded parts or service. . They do great work and they are proud of it. They want you back as a happy customer. They actual value your business.

A pleasure to spend time there today. My Bimmer is purring.

Lack of customer service
Wow, what a disappointment. Thought I found a quality, customer focused shop in Sarasota to work on my R8 after my negative experience with your former manager Shaun Lulofs at SRQ Motorsports. No follow-up, no nothing. Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Both companies should take a lesson from Elite Motorworks of Sarasota. They understand the importance of customer service and how to quote a simple sway bar installation while I waited.

Finally, a quality shop in Sarasota that can be counted on.

PPI Not serious
One of the purchases I regret the most in my life.
I requested a Pre Purchase Inspection here and they were really nice, really pleasant people, accommodating, pristine shop, truly loved my interaction.
I agreed on the full PPI that was going to be $400 and while they were doing it, they said they stopped looking for issues and it made no sense to look further because the car was in such great shape that it just did not make sense for me to spend the $400. They charge me for 1.5h instead and they would not even send me the bill, I had to ask several times.
The result was that it only needed to charge the AC, new rotors, a brake flush, rear struts were starting to leak, and rear wheels but nothing really necessary or immediate, only to meet the high standards of a potential Porsche Track Event. Around 6K to fix those minor things. No paint measuring necessary because it was in great condition. They were going to check on the IMS through their Porsche network to see if the parts had been ever ordered and avoid taking down the transmission as well.

Now how it really turned:
- Rear bumper was red (my car is black) and poorly resprayed, peeling and chipping from the debris thrown in the wheel well by the tires.
- Front bumper and hood probably resprayed in the life and with more chips.
- Rust found under the rear panels with signs of having tried to be addressed it in the past.
- Paint in the calipers cracking.
- Needed to replace rotors, pads, sensors,
- Engine main hose
- 4 new tires.
- Wheels were not powder coated properly, they were cheaply painted and paint is cracking in the interior
- Suspension in the rear was completely shot for normal driving. -- Drive shaft seals leaking.
- One key is all broken and barely working and the other is missing the circuit board.
- Just now an oil leak between the engine and the transmission. IMS maybe?
- IMS now.
- I imagine I will find more surprises. No doubt.

I have driven this car about 300miles driving carefully without inspection. I cannot even pass the NJ inspection because the car has been dead with no battery during long periods of time under previous ownership.

What exactly did they take a look at?

What a dream crushed. I exchanged my cash for a headache car. Not fair. Nothing worse than making a bad purchase. No possible way to break even.

I asked for a written report for me to keep more than 3 times to Frank and Corey, they always agreed to it and were going to send it but... never happened. They were going to call their Porsche guy for the IMS thing but never happened.
Now I understand why they never put anything in writing.

Hindsight now... how in the world did I buy that car? This is my fault, no doubt. I own my mistake.

I spent the money in an early Carrera 997.1 that was supposed to be great and ended up spending what could get me a 997.2 with less miles have I not trusted these people.

A PPI should save you surprises, maybe not all of them but at least the cosmetic ones. I overlooked a lot of things because of their trusting words about the car. Really not fair.

These guys really know Porsches. Dealing with Frank is always a pleasure and his expertise is exceptional. Renn Haus is the only company to work on our vehicles.

#1 in Sarasota
Based on my experience with service departments, Renn Haus is far and away the "go to" automotive service guys to service MERCEDES and Audi TT cars in the Sarasota area. Frank is an unbelievable encyclopedia of maintenance and performance information for all European manufactures. He provides pictures of the critical parts of the maintenance performed, advises what to be aware of for upcoming maintenance and provides his own personal critique of most models. The shop is spotless and one can't help to notice the Jags, Porsches, Maseratis, etc. that are up on lifts. 1st class operation!!! Thanks guys for your personal attention to my vehicles.

Excellent service!!
Renn Haus was referred by a friend as the go to alternative to the dealerships. They are very courteous, professional and provided a comprehensive diagnostic of the operational status of my Audi TT. Identified and repaired the mechanical problem and had car ready same day, and at very reasonable cost. Highly recommend for owners of European vehicles.

Customer since 2018.
Having heard by word of mouth, I added my own online research and shop visit and found this my 1st choice to care for my 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera S cab. The staff from the front office to the tech’ are top notch, knowledgeable and can explain things in a way even I can understand. I highly recommend this shop for all your BABY’ needs!

The best service center I’ve e ever used for my BMW and Mercedes Benz. Renn hous has serviced and repaired ( not many breakdowns) my autos over my years in Florida. I trust them with my cars.
