This is the deal. Flat out worst people I’ve ever had the displeasure of knowing. They damaged my car during the tow. They lied and said they didn’t do it! The guy that towed my car wreaked of alcohol and smelled of swine. I had no other choice but to go with them as I was stuck on the mountain coming into Monterey, my phone had little charge and died shortly after calling the tow. I had to sleep in my car (no big deal), but keep reading. Getting the tie rod replaced, which they damaged, confirmed by the dealership it was taken to, cost me $481/¢. Also, I asked them that same night to take it to the dealership, because they were the only ones that could fix a hybrid, yet they refused and hauled it to their rinky dink shop. The place was wretched looking, smelling, and downright filthy. So, on top of not doing as I requested, which was to take it to the dealership, also in their job description, they charged me for the approximately 1.25 mile tow AND the tow to the dealership. Talk about mad furious. Sorry sons of something, I tell ya. The amounts were unfair on top of that just stated. My insurance will not pursue subrogation, so this will likely end up in small claims court. Another thing that irked me was that even the law officer that stopped by for his morning chat was full of placid bigotry. If you’re a fella of colored skin tone I would NOT recommend this place. This whole city and town needs to fix themselves. Ate up asf ?
