Poor communication and the longest Ive ever had my car in a shop
I called the week of JAN 12th to make an appointment for JAN 22ND stating EXACTLY what was wrong with my FORD FUSION. I dropped my car off around noon that day and still do not have access to it nearly a week and a half later. Ive called everyday for an update and was advised MON JAN 26th ALL appointments are booked 4-5 business days out. If I had KNOWN that prior I would not have booked an APPOINTMENT because I thought that was the purpose of one, to not have to wait. Due to weather conditions we are still awaiting one part (ignition coil) that I personally would've ordered from Amazon and it would've been here A LOT quicker. This has GREATLY impacted my life and has nearly lost me my job due to transportation issues.

We understand your frustration and apologize for the inconvenience this delay caused. We would like to provide a clear and accurate update regarding your vehicle.

Your vehicle was dropped off on January 22nd. Due to existing workload and scheduling, it was brought into the shop for diagnosis the following business day. During diagnosis, we determined that the issue was not the same as what was initially described at the time the appointment was scheduled. The diagnosis revealed damaged wiring and a failed radio suppression resistor (part number 7L8Z-18801-A), which is not a stocked item.

Once the diagnosis was completed, the required part was ordered immediately. Delivery of the part took longer than normal due to supplier delays.

The required part was received from the Ford dealer and the vehicle was fully repaired and completed on January 30th. The vehicle is ready for pickup on February 2nd, which is the next business day following completion of the repair.
