Apathetic and Lazy
I dropped my Venice to them back in November of 2024, almost 90 days later and they still have it. This part wasn’t right or somebody was sick or my insurance company did something wrong… nothing in the last 86 days has been the fault of Hyundai, yet they will not answer a phone to tell you that you must continue to wait. They’re inept, lazy, and truly apathetic. Ken is the biggest huckster of all, followed closely by the service manager and the GM. What’s so enraging is that the managers, who are impossible to get in contact with, just truly don’t care about their repeat customers. I’ll never buy another car or spend another second in that horrible place. I’m sorry to the salesman who I’ve worked with on three car purchases, who my family and friends have worked with on several more car purchases, but he’ll never do business with me or mine again. It’s a shame that the service department is losing you customers.

They are absolutely horrible. Had my car for over 10 hours, did a oil change and was supposed to so a state inspection. Instead they gave me a list of " so called " problems that my vehicle needed to have repaired before it passed, to the tune of well over $1000.00 needless to say I took it somewhere else dropped it off for inspection and never mentioned that the dealer had looked at it and said there were several things wrong. Two hours later went to the new place where I left it low and behold my car passed inspection with flying colors .No problems notes or no additional work needed. Shady tactics to try and get me to do unessecary repairs oh did I mention I'm a senior, disabled so they were trying to advantage of me. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE. I will also make it a point to yell every one I know how horrible this place is

Poor Service
This place is horrible. They had my car for over 10 hours just to do a oil change and inspection. They gave me a list of work to the tune of over $1000.00 of work. Wouldn't honor my extended warranty. So I took my vehicle to another shop, NOT A DEALERSHIP!!! Low and behold my car passed inspection just fine without any of the " so called" work that Priority Hyundai at Greenbriar said
I would need in order to pass. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM and I will make dam sure everyone I know is aware of there SHADY,UNPROFESSIONAL, SHIFTY TACTICS!!!

Don't buy extended warranty
DONT EVER BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY
My name is Teresa. Don't ever buy the extended warranty. They won't honor it. I wasted my money on this warranty. I been having problems with my oil evaporating out of my hyundai tucson 2017. This problem started almost a year ago. I've been getting the running around at the hyundai dealership chesapeake. They keep running the same oil consumption test instead of replacing my engine which is covered under my expensive extended warranty. Tell me why I am buying oil to put in my truck before my next 3 month oil change. I owned a hyundai before for 14 years and never had this problem. I should not be buying oil 1 month in a half after i got an oil change to put in my truck. I am being told by my advisor Ken that is a common problem. WHEN? Ive own many cars in my life and never had this problem. Instead of them replacing my engine months ago, they keep having me come back every 1000 miles to see if they have to put more than 2 bottles of oil in my truck. Let's fast forward to today. My catalytic converter is bad. The dealership service department made a guess on this diagnosis. I was advised by my advisor to take it to big Als because they charge less than the $3003.00 the dealership said it will cost me. I took it to big Al for a 2nd opinion and big Al's took apart my catalytic converter to see what the problem is and found small metal particles clogging the converter, which they made the determination it is coming from the engine. I was told by big Al's that I needed to take it back to the dealership to let them know being that my engine is covered under warranty. I called 3 times and asked for my advisor Ken, and a manager and I was told they all wasnt not available. I found a ride to go up there to be told I still couldn't speak to a manager and since my check engine light is not on, they can't help me. I was told to keep driving my truck until it break down on my and i will have to get it towed to the dealership. Woow. This whole process is insane. I am covered under warranty. So my truck engine is making a funny noise. My catalytic converter is bad possibly due to my engine. I was told by the service agent that I still need to get the catalytic converter fixed first. I told them if i do that, i would be wasting money being that the enegine is blowing out metal into the converter. So make it make sense. It suppose to be a recall on my engine. I am not understanding this. I been taking my truck to this dealership for service since I bought this truck from them in 2017. This is the treatment I get. I kept up with all my service appointments. I spent alot money on maintenance at this service department and when it time for them to do the right thing and replace my engine that is covered under warranty they are rejecting. WOOOOOOW! Who does that. Then they stop sending me a request for a review ever since I did a not so good review in the past. Now, mind you, this is my only transportation. My truck is paid off and the engine is bad. It's covered under warranty and the dealership is refusing to help me and replace my engine. You can't talk to a manager. Poor customer service to a customer who being going here since 2017 and it's now 2024. Very under customer.

Bad Business Dealings
My family and I had the absolute worst experience at this location via the service and sales department. They pretty much sold us a lemon and won’t pay for any repairs nor are they willing to negotiate to help us find a another vehicle. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I will never purchase another vehicle from this location or any company under their brand of businesses.

Dishonest tactics and behavior
We went ready and willing to negotiate and buy a new vehicle. The female floor manager ruined the entire experience for us. She treated us like we owe her something and that our business isn’t important to her. Her tactics of pricing were unacceptable. When we questioned her on anything she got defensive. She was extremely condescending to my husband and I. We’ve never been treated this bad by a dealership before and we’ve lived all over the country. When we told her we weren’t okay with what she was offering she stormed off and left us at the table. We will ensure our coworkers and friends don’t give business to this dealership and we won’t be back.

Poor Customer Service
I had an 11:20 appointment to have a routine inspection and oil change and also agreed to have my tires rotated and balanced. After waiting for over aqu3 hours, I was asked if everything was okay and I answered in the negativeI. I was then told that my car was in the bay. A young man was also in the waiting area and expressed his displeasure of having to wait 2 hours and he and I began to talk. When he was asked for his name (Rodriquez), the person asking went to check on his car. Shortly afterward, a young lady asked if he wanted his keys back and he could leave if hm e did not want to wait. He said that he did not want to be there until 5 in the evening and she told him that he might have to be there until then and walked away. A man dressed in a white shirt and black pants approached and told him that he would give him his keys and he could leave. The young man said that he was a customer and could talk if he wanted to. The man told him that if he kept talking, he would put him out. Nobody asked this young man what the source of his complaint was. When they walked away, I told him that I had never seen anyone being asked to leave a car dealership especially when he was only talking to me when he voiced his complaint. He was loud nor disruptive. I have made a decision that it is not worth my time to come in for a service that is free if I show up at 11:20 and don't get home until after 3pm. I was shocked at the behavior of the employees toward this young man.

Very dissatisfied with the service. . The called me a told me that they could not fix it and was not returning my money. Was disappointed with the purchase of the car, paid too much for it in the beginning.r
Paid to have AC Unit repaired. Took it back because it was not working properly. Still blowing hot air. They called me to tell me that they could not fix it and they were not returning my money.

Tom the one who runs that dealership is rude nasty and disrespectful… me and one lady who works there was having a conversation about making a appt too come back because my car was there from 8am too 6pm and wasn’t complete walked up in my face with his hands raise. Which at that point I felt endangered told me too leave after I told him never in his life walk up on me .. I believe that man to be racist

Priority Hyundai had my car from March 16,2022 until May 31,2022
An engine and oil light came on while I was driving. I called Priority and spoke with Sarah- one of the General Managers. She asked me if I could drive my car to Priority on March 16th,because s I e was looking at my file and she told me that I had only 13 more days of warranty and that I need to get a free diagnostic test on my engine. She said,I know your engine has a hundred thousand mile warranty on the engine,but you wa t a free diagnostic test now. She also told me to bring it in that day and tell Mr. Jimmy that she told me to bring it in today. I did drive the car into Priority about 10 after 4PM. I told them what Ms.Sarah told me to do, I also told them that my car has a 3 sticker on my car for my next oil change. I told them to give me my free diagnostic test,my free oil change and that Ms. Sarah told me to get my car in today. My car stayed there at Priority Hyundai until May 31,2022. My car had 2 recalls. I called weekly, I visited that dealership ok...i tried several times,I asked for a loaner car....but no one kept in touch with me. My ex husband died on May 10th...I had no transportation. I wrote a 5 page letter to Mr. Tom Ivy who is the Head General Manager...he NEVER called me ,wrote me none whatsoever. I called to speak to him but Mr. Jimmy tells me "I hear you wrote Tom a letter,he told me that We can tow your car to you and place it in your driveway. I told Mr.Jimmy,I drove my SUV to your dealership, I do not want my car towed anywhere !They never tried to remedy anything. On May 31,I get the okay to come get my car, I arrive to Mr. Jimmy Jump Starting my car...that's right, the battery was dead ! A number 5 sticker was on my car, which means my state inspection had not been done, nor had they given me my free oil change in March. They did not do the RECALLS ON MY CAR EITHER.
